Thanks for making the podcast with Jim, who I love to watch and listen to and you asked great questions of him. However, I could only listen and not watch in the end. The constant cut in of images and video on every other word almost that he said was really disconcerting and so annoying. It was like it was assumed that we didn't know as viewers what terms he was alluding to and so you put the images there to show us. So many people are cutting their videos with AI generated images now at editing stage and over complicating what could just be wonderful conversations with a really great person. I am not against images when they are relevant but these were not. So I am sorry but this totally stopped me liking and subscribing. Hopefully you will take this as positive feedback, as it is meant, as I was amazed to see that the video had 5.4K views but only 287 likes?

Yes, the idea was to ask if someone is abusing another and they are feeling fulfillment and joy from the abuse then how does that translate on the vibrational scale since we are always trying to raise our vibration through emotions such as joy and happiness. Hopefully that explains what the question was a little better. We’re so glad you are enjoying the content, we do try to come up with different questions to ask so that, we can deliver new content to our viewers. Thank you for your support!
I'm somewhat confused about the answer Athena had to this question. Everything resonated for me except this reasoning. Did she mean that as long as the abuser derives pleasure from inflicting pain, that they are flowing in high vibration? Does that mean then the universe responds to them by providing more opportunities to abuse & hurt more people? If that's the case, does that somehow mean the ones being harmed are receiving pleasure from being abused? And therefore will receive more abuse? I can't get a grip on that logic. That's like saying you could be a mass murderer & as long as you derive pleasure from it, the universe will provide more lives for you to end. I maybe way off base, but that's how I understood the response 🤷
This is definitely a tough one to unpack. But it is our understanding that what she is saying is that because we live in a world of duality there are opposites on each side of the coin. Good/bad, light/dark, etc. But that from a, divine perspective, everything is neutral and there is no right or wrong. So whatever we energetically send out as a signal is what returns us through the laws through the universal law of attraction. @@dawnpotter5632what she was saying, and also in her answer of another question where the person was observing and not liking how a relative were making money in a way they felt unethical or harmful to others, was that the abuser and the relative are acting in alignment. And that the universe was supporting their beliefs. That the universe is not judging things as good or bad. The harsher truth is that there is something in the abused person that is creating / aligning with this abuse they are experiencing. In a way they are attracting it in the emotions they are resisting feeling and holding in their soul. This may be feelings / beliefs of being bad, unlovable etc. As Athena suggests, if the abused was able to stay in awareness and feel and release what they are feeling from the abuse they suffer, then this would help release these emotions (often born in childhood or lineage). Athena constantly reminds us we can choose to align to our preferences. And through releasing the emotions in their soul by feeling them, they will be in a say “better” place in their soul/consciousness to make a different choice. Doing this involves feeling what you are resisting which can be at times excruciating painful. Athena reminds us that these emotions are already in US. The abuser is the trigger. But we can choose differently. In the abused case they can grow in belief of deserving better, in self love. They can choose differently then and leave behind this abusive situation. It doesn’t mean that the abuser will stop their abusive ways. They will probably transfer this abuse to another. They are living their universe and holding onto emotions they do not want to feel.
