hey when I export the 0000 file an open it in reshape, I dont get a base model but a weird big polygon. How do I fix that?

Hey so this is really weird, and I STILL haven't found a permanent way to fix this. Basically, whenever I bake my folder (WWE 2k23 I don't have 2k24 yet) It bakes then before its close to being completed the whole app shuts down... and it does this EVERYTIME and I'm getting tired of it 😂. Nothings working I tried deleting some of them, moving folders, REINSTALLING MY CHARACTERS, even reaching out to people on the PWM Discord Server and I haven't found a way to fix this. It was working okay yesterday It fully baked and I played the game but then it started happening again do you know what I should do or how to fix this??

Have a question. I’m trying to port titles from 22 to 23 I used mtls editor but when I try see if it worked in game it crashes

Hey Ben, thank you very much for this tutorial, I followed it and everything went well, just one problem, the model comes without a head (the eyes and the mouth is showing tho), would you know by any chance if this was any oversight on my part? Thanks! EDIT: Found the solution in the comment section, grab another .mtls file from another superstar and replace the one you have on the base model folder

Thank you Ben for this video, subscribed. I followed along and tried to re-add 358_Triple_H_2018 to 2K23 as I unlocked that slot. Everything works but his model and attire, it's coming out still to a broken moveset-man model with holes in it. Is there something I'm missing? I did check CharacterMapping.jsfb as well as the CharProfileTable.roster.jsfb. Update: I had to set the attire # to 00 00 in CharacterMapping which means "Default", all good now.

is there a way to import old moves/finisher animations from previous wwe 2k games (like 2k15, 2k16, 2k19, 2k22) to WWE 2k23. Secondly, can you alter an existing wrestler model (like buffing it visually) in WWE 2k23 through modding?

Thank you so much for the beginner friendly and easy to understand tutorial! I just have one quick question! I am using CakeTools 2023v1.03, probably the newest one. And when I am at the step at 1:44 select folder, instead of having a popup box to select Bake Directory (8-12), I was having a popup box Asking me to Bake using either name or index :(use slots 51 - 58 if "High" textures enables) and I need to choose CAK index: and CAK Name: . Not quite sure what to do here.. Sorry for the noobish question! And once again thanks for the tutorial!

i dont have any ycl file... after exporting the attire into 2k23 mdl format.. the folder does not have any yvl file.. the python program just reads no ycl found.. pls help

Can this same method be done using a 2k23 model??? Because i tried sculpting on the hulk hogan 2k23 model just to test it.....i saved the MDL in blender. Took it into the game. And it showed some areas on the model with holes....I think it's a masking issue. DO you know what could be the problem???

I attempted to use this to port a character mod made for 2019, the model seems to work fine, but its all black and shiny... I assume I have done something wrong with the textures?

I have a problem with this tutorial, i mamage to successfully port the attire onto WWE2k23 but im having trouble with my base model, when i load it up on blender it says "Report Error, python traceback (most recen call last), i also have a problem with replacing my base model with the new one, i also have a problem with replacing the MDL file with the MTLS Tool

If I find a mod for 2k22, and I want to use it on 2K23, would I have to do these steps too?

Blender is not giving me the option to import with shape keys. In the side bar where it should be it just says no properties.

for some reason when i import the 22 model its just a skeleton. Doesn't have any body or anything.

also another question i have is if the original mod replaces someone like ziggler 09 who is not in WWE 2k23, what would i do?
