The Negatives of Living in Bali
มุมมอง 11K11 หลายเดือนก่อน
When I had the chance to live in Canggu, these were just a few of the things I wish somebody told me before living there. Don’t get me wrong..I LOVED Bali and my time there, but we have to keep it realistic and share the pros and cons, I’m just trying to keep it real! Maybe it is not like this in all cases, but this was just my personal experience! Let me know your opinions in the comments!

How to find the BEST accommodation in BALI (short & long term)
มุมมอง 36Kปีที่แล้ว
Hello everyone, today I want to show you 3 of the best options when looking for accommodation here in Bali (i’m focusing on the Canggu area, but works for other areas in Bali too) I want to give you guys a tour of each place so you could really get a feel for the place if you do have interesting in staying in bali and are looking for something like I have mentioned in the video! here are some o...
WHY i moved to Bali (why you should too)
มุมมอง 211K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I am back and now I'm living in BALI!! I still can't believe it!! I am super excited to share this video with you guys about some of the reason of why I moved here and why I think you should too:) I have more content planned for the next coming weeks so stay tuned!!
Everyone i know comes back very sick. No thanks
Yeah let's all move to Bali and screw up the island even more than humanly possible. Lovely outcome that will be.
1. You DO need driving licence in Bali. Unless you're just driving or motorcycling around Canggu. And please for the love of God if you can't drive a motorbike or scooter don't drive them. You can harm yourself and OTHERS. Just use Gojek or Grabike instead for transportation. 2. Don't drink tap water in Bali. 3. Don't buy clothes in boutique shop. You can buy clothing from local shop. 4. In Bali they have warung makan where you can eat for cheap instead of the restaurant.
Excellent presentation ..good job and thank you!
this aged like milk
Bali is actually really dodgy. Lots of drink spiking and scams. I've been there 5 times and I wouldn't go back. Much prefer Vietnam
lol yes
have you ever tried martabak telor or indomie?
Yeah I have
@@isaacs8528 ooh
I require Las Vegas style sex ,drinks and drugs ,Bali is boring
Amazing channel Eda, I already know you guys from via infinda, that's another approach to your life, love both channels, I'm thinking in living as digital nomad
Dine out as much as possible. Cost of lunch and dinner as you point out, cheaper than cooking. More importantly every time you step into a cafe or restaurant many locals benefit. To handover a $10 tip means so much to these people and everything they earn goes to the support of their families. Being generous in Bali is very easy to do in comparison to what have here. ✌️🇦🇺
For Indonesian quite expensive, because it’s tourist destination. I prefer LOMBOK now more quiet and calm.. of course there is nothing compared with Bali with developed island now they have everything in Bali, but yeah Lombok it’s the future Bali.
The moment she said me and my boyfriend, at 0:16 I hit the dislike button and I exited the video 😀
Wow!!!
Wow! We are coming for 3 months soon! Thanks! Where can we find a unit like this? Do you have a Bali living guide?
For investments in Bali, better use the analysis from Azarium.
Western double standard at its finest
Thailand is better
The worst people on mopeds are tourists from certain countries currently at war. You can easily spot them because they don't wear helmets. NEVER drink the tap water, even locals don't drink the water !!! Shopping, you're shopping in the most expensive area ! Locals don't wear bikinis only tourists, so it's tourist prices.
Great video, thank you for making the background music so subtle 👍
Thankyou nice young lady...good infos👍
Your video is the only one that actually shares their tips ❤
I have been to Bali three times (the longest for six weeks) and never had a Bali belly, but I also took extra probiotics and oregano oil daily. There's a lot one can do to prevent getting ill <3
Which website would you recommend to find cheap land in Portugal?
How are you coping with all of the bugs and getting bit by mosquitoes, et cetera?
Great vid thank you! However a couple of facts! You legally need a license to suit the vehicle you are driving as if you have an accident, insurance is nil and void as well as health insurance. Helmets from Bali are not a great standard, byo from Europe or Australia (best safety) Traffic has been CRAP since COVID and Canggu is THE worst on the island! You need to take stomach probiotics and charcoal for your gut as Bali health standards are very low compared to western countries. Very common to get sick and dehydrated. Supermarkets are very expensive, markets are the best to buy fresh food … Bali is now expensive 2024 in rent and is not an idyllic country to visit any longer - a lot of wanna-be digital nomads!
u said that the reasons u moved in bali are: lifestyle and affordability. I'm based in Hong Kong since 2004 owning a company and i don't care about the "affordability". Does make sense for me moving for a few months a year from hong kong to Bali considering Bali a third world country right now? i would like to know your opinion. Can i buy a 2 bedroom villa in Bali? Are there classes where i can learn the Indonesian language? thx a lot PS. My 2 kids are 9 and 6 yrs old. The scooter cannot be an option. Driving a car means stuck in the traffic?
❤❤❤😊
Loved the video.. would love to have more info.. does your insta doesn’t work anymore?
Hello from the Algalve 😊
Well, make the small ruin livable, get a batterypack that has solar panels so you have 220V were you need it on the land, make sure you can live in the small ruin, you will need that for when you are going to build the main house, get some all terrain tires on your car, look on flea markets from some good used tools, it saves you a lot of money, everything else you will handle it when you see it.
The tree on upper terrace is either a almond ,apeacot or peach tree
Bali belly meens you eat at the restaurants. Means you not smart. You need to eat with the locals. Why do i say this. Emagine this. There is a food stand. Privatly owned by a local. If they make bad food their children cant go to school and there will be no income because no one will buy from them. Thats why the quality of the local food is always good. If you go in restaurant with staff they will care less. About how clean it is. Not their restaurant and they dont get payed well so they dont care about the restaurant and about your health.
Vurdurtmaya devam Eda. Önüne gelene vurdur.
Looks like a fig tree. Yum 😋😋😋
Such a great video. Thank you
Can you give the name of the guesthouse please? That looked perfect to trial living in Bali prior to committing to a house/villa! x
You moved to Bali because you have enough money to do it...
great video Buth i think you will need a small tractor with all the work on land and in the green Where did you buy the house in the North of Portugal? Following and enjoying your video vlog.
First brazilian here 😁. such a good video, congrats.
Should be saying, we and our, doing everything together 😊
Your all the same move to a country to exploit the poor. But the minute something happens your on the news got a go fund me page to get you the hell out of there an possibly bought to a real hospital. Let's face it you couldn't make it work in the real world so you moved here to try an feel something lol
Too many useless Caucasians in Bali
U should be buying groceries from the local wet markets and not the supermarkets! It’ll be cheaper that way!!
I have lived in Bali for years, and worked with my rock band in Jakarta, but I keep it a secret because I don't want everyone to know how to live there cheaply.
Why did u move to portugal Why did u left indonesia ?
Why did she LEAVE? She's British, isn't that obvious that Indonesia is much further away from the UK than Portugal? Lisbon airport to London airport is a 3 hours flight. Bugget airlines (Ryanair / Easyjet) have flights starting from £25. Meaning she can cheaply visit her family as her family can visit her, which wouldn't be the case if she stayed in Indonesia.
@@SERGIO-cr6uy why did she leave UK for Portugal , I think UK is better than Portugal in every standards
@@BondJFK if you remove the wage difference between UK and Portugal, there's no much positive living in the UK. At least not anymore.
Thank you so much for this awesome video!❤️🦋🌿 I am going to be moving to Bali soon and would love to start chatting to some people in the area prior to arriving. You were speaking about Facebook and Whatsapp groups - how do we find and join these? And is there another way you would recommend connecting with people beforehand? Thanks in advance and perhaps even looking forward to meeting you in Bali!💓💖
