Maybe around 10 hours. This was my first jewel orchid, but I've also heard that it doesn't grow so well if you put it directly in aquarium soil. But I can't say for sure, maybe that works too

Thank you very much! I'll definitely upload a few more photos of the aquarium and also of the plants (also in my story). It is important that the plants are supplied with nutrients for healthy growth. I use liquid fertilizer for this every two weeks

Actually only as a template for the hardscape that I built on top of it, so that it still fits into the glass later in terms of diameter 😁

Thank you very much! I'm glad it's helping you 😄 The fact that the humidity is quite high, especially around the lava rocks, also benefits the fern. It doesn't get any direct water, the humidity is sufficient for it. Yes, the lava rocks have the same effect like leca and I had no problems with root rot here.

Totally agree with you! The filter looks shit. I wasn't able to use an external filter here. But I already have an idea of how I can make it a bit nicer than it's now. Updates will follow! Glad you like it anyway and thanks for your feedback 😊🌿

Ich wollte hier eher die Orchidee in den Vordergrund stellen und das "Hardscape" minimalistisch halten. Daher hab ich auch kleine Stücke verwendet. Du kannst natürlich auch größere verwenden, wenn du mehr vom Hardscape sehen möchtest. Wie es dir besser gefällt 😄

It shouldn't be sprayed that much then you don't have any problems normally. I only have some water drops on the top and on the back but that doesn't interfere the view. The front is completely free 😊
