I think it would be great for treated lumber, creosote logs, chemical soaked palettes. Needs a magnent to get rid of nails and screws so you don't leave a contemptible tire buster pile behind. Would rather see something that could make BioChar for gardening.

Wouldn’t the smoke be better than burning with the air? Because the smoke particles would eventually fall but burning with the air turns it into co2 which won’t fall out?

Let me get this right. You use precious materials from earth to make the battery (probably using diesel or similar to dig that stuff up) you then use other sources to build said battery and the containers to house said burner/steam charger and also the battery that is charged (waiting for the battery Volvo heavy equipment to come back to re charge). You then use diesel fuel trucks to move your 45 Tonne joke to a new location. You burn trees (up to 20 tonnes per hour) to power/recharge this joke. This is NOT green and environmentally friendly. A Cat D9/10 does less environmental damage than this joke of a thing. For those that don’t know basic chemistry please speak to someone about the tonnes of CO2 this joke produces. Darwin thinks you are all a bunch of alleged 🤡 and wants no part of this pathetic white washing/green washing BS

Great idea!!! Getting rid of bio waste by burning it and turning it into CO2. We need more CO2 and less biomass. The amount of CO2 produced in 1 hour is equivalent to approximately 144, D-10 Bulldozers. At least you get to operate 3-6 battery operated excavators at your worksite. That's a lot better for the environment, than leaving the biomass in its current form, storing the CO2.

There are existing, commercially available add-ons to FireBoxes that use the heat to generate electricity using the heat from the box. My understanding is that they provide an economic return and reduce dependence on other generation sources

Would be nice if this made Charcoal for gardening, water filtration, cooking. Ash is only marginally useful. This is throwing money away, burning it. To bad this couldn't drive a steam turbine to recharge electric cars.

How does this fight climate change? I have a wood boiler and I do land clearing so in not a tree hugger but I don't get it . I'll take a grinder then sell the chips to a power plant or pellet mill

Well there banning most wood boilers so good luck with that. And yes the new wood boilers do the same thing with the smoke

California can't even have campfires but you can run this? Plus you can't have pre d.p.f trucks but they'll let that wood stove run all day yeah that makes sense 🤣

We just got one of these at our work for the county roadside brush pick up. Works ok bit but can't keep up with the amount of brush we have hauled in on a daily basis. Might burn 25-30% of what brought in just in our district of the county.
