Welcome to the channel! I actually don't have any specific game that I'm aiming to record next so I may just have to take you up on playing through Detroit for the channel since it's one of those games that I really enjoy and for whatever reason just haven't recorded it for the channel.

Honestly my Silent Hill would probably be a run down town full of people (but that's more to do with my crippling anxiety rather than being a Scot haha)

It's a mod called 'Party Limit Begone'.

You're kidding? I had no idea that was an option. I might have to go back and try to get that ending in my spare time now.

@@ChazyBazzy If you have Phantom Liberty you can also get multiple game endings (credit roll). While playing Phantom Liberty if you go either of these two routes you can still complete the Vanilla 2077 game as well. During Phantom Liberty you have 3 critical missions (2 critical choices) that determines your ending. Firestarter - This is the 1st of the choices you need to make. Either help Songbird escape -or- help Reed bring in Songbird. Helping Songbird escape puts you on the path to the mission 'Killing Moon'. Helping Reed try to bring in Songbird puts you on the path to the mission 'Somewhat Damaged' Killing Moon - You have 2 choices here as well. Either stop Reed from bringing Songbird in (King of Wands) or help Reed bring in Songbird (King of Swords). Somewhat Damaged - You have 2 choices here as well. If Songbird dies (King of Cups) or if Songbird lives (King of Pentacles). The mission line that I think has the greatest and most in-depth storyline is the 'King of Cups'. As I also think that the Somewhat Damaged questline is by far the better of the two (narrative storyline). Choosing either the King of Swords or King of Pentacles endings will end the game with the new (pretty sad) Phantom Liberty ending. Choosing either the King of Wands or King of Cups will give you the ending credits but you still need to find your cure and allows you to continue your game. If you wanted you could easily make a 3 part video series doing the special ending. Video 1 - 'Birds with broken wings', 'I've seen that face before', & 'Firestarter' Video 2 - 'Black Steel in the hour of chaos' & 'Somewhat Damaged' Video 3 - 'Don't fear the Reaper' As far as narrative plots go this is by far the best (imho) and gives you the most backstory between Songbird, Reed, Myers, and the FIA. I think you'd like this ending. P.S. If you decide to try the 'Somewhat Damaged' mission don't even try to fight the Cerebus robot. You can't kill it. The entire 'Somewhat Damaged' mission is trying to accomplish objectives with spooky music while being hunted by an unkillable predator robot. Have fun!

I realised that after playing these episodes but it's just so hard to trust him when he's being such an ass

None apart from a couple hairs. Wanted to play the game as vanilla as possible for my first playthrough.

Just like how Abby shouldn't have let Ellie go ?

I'm really not too sure about Abby#s development. Like sometimes it feels forced and then other times I actually find myself sympathising with her only to remember what she did and be like screw her, you know? Yeah, this game would've worked so much better if they'd gone back and forward between both Abby and Ellie throughout the whole game instead of making you play as Ellie only to then have to go back and play all those sections again as Abby knowing what was coming.

@@ChazyBazzy I completely agree I wish the game started with Ellie’s section but not telling us why she’s doing this or what happened and then cut to Abby and her whole thing so you can get attacked to her and they show her killing Joel I feel like that would have been narratively very interesting bc at that point we would having feelings for both protagonists some might side with Abby some might side with Ellie. The Ellie boss fight btw 🤌

Yeah, it 100% didn't and I don't think Abby realised before she did the deed that it wouldn't. Like nothing she did was going to bring her father back. In that sense I feel really bad for Ellie because she is going through exactly what Abby was until she met Lev and Yara.

Yeah, it's very clear that killing Joel did nothing to help the pain Abby felt. I also think that Lev and Yara are finally the thing that's helped her move on from that trauma though.

Imagine if they didn't tell anyone joel or ellie would be related to this game and it was supposed to be about abby from the start only to have it interconnect the way it did. That would have been much better

Yeah, it's exactly that and I can definitely see where the devs were coming from when they decided to do this particular story but playing through the story is another thing entirely. Like I can maintain the seperation for the most part but it sometimes still slips through haha. It does remind me of a saying I heard once though 'Everyone is the villian in someone else's story' (or something to that effect anyway)

OMG, that would've been such a twist and I 100% would've been down to play that.

Yeah, this part kinda lost me ngl, like some of the characters (namely Lev) I do find myself liking but like what were most of them thinking. Ignoring the whole Joel/Ellie thing is pretty much the only reason I can actually play through this part tbh.

I mean you're probably right that Ellie would've agreed but if they'd waited to ask her and she had said yes then Joel wouldn't have been able to fight against it because he would've then known that she would've ended up hating him for that.
