I'm just starting and I got an Icotech GC300 2nd gen. Did you ever kill dogs with the icotech gc300? I ask, as I've yet to call out a coyote with this after about 10-12 times out already.

And you dont need to wear sunglasses.

Try wildlife technologies, I have used both and the wildlife is a much better call for real sound and volume. I have been calling dogs for 30 years, wild life is the best call going..

We used a foxpro Shockwave during a contest, it worked fine, we just went through ALOT of batteries in a day and a half(2 big packs from Sam'sClub). And we had to keep it within 30 yards or it wouldn't work. The outside temperature was between 5°&15°.

Ok here's my beef with ecotect. If u think 12 sounds enough u dont hunt many species. Just for cats say 6 sounds. Fox 6 coyotes say 6 . Crows 4 . An many more wolf geese an more . 12 sounds ain't near enough. An I cant eve here it at 300 yards . I'll stick with foxpro all day .an made in America so probably last a lot longer .

Why in the world would you care if a remote worked at HUNDREDS of yards? The idea is to call animals close to you for an easier shot, not hundreds of yards away.

Great vid. Per usual I do everything ass backwards lol and I bought the Icotec GC300 call at Cabella's yesterday and today it dawned on me to check for reviews to see if I want to keep it or not. I was a little suspect that this thing would really work at 300 yards but that is very impressive that it actually does. Like you I ordinarily keep it inward of 65 yards or closer anyway..100 yards max. I love your dog, lol..he's like "WHO are you TALKING to Daddy!!?" lol so cute! :-)

At 8:21 you said you needed to turn it up on the foxpro @100 yards, was the sound turn up @ 200 yards or did you forget?

got my icotec for only 70$ onEbay. The Foxpro was alot more than that.

What caliber rifle? Was that the Snow shoe hare sound? I have that same sound one on my caller. You have a ton of Yotes if this is in Canada.

Impressive range on that unit but why on earth would I want to try to call a Yote' in to 300 yards? I want him inside 100 yards if I can. Defeats the purpose of a caller to me. Which machine calls more dogs?

Question ? what did the FOX PRO set you Back in $$$$$.? Herd that they are very Expensive etc.

I Put in Regular AA Alkaline Batteries in mine & Not any Lithium ones , Except for the Remote Which says it uses a C23 Lithium type Battery in it., They suggest in the Colder Weather to use AA LITHIUM ION Batteries, they are suppose to last much Longer, But they are Very Expensive, I just carry,Regular AA's with me to change off if they start to run Low etc.

NB Love your Yellow Lab in the Back there, I Bought an ICOTEc 300 Last year , but did not get the time to get it into the Coyote Woods , But this year it will be out there, Trying it out, Seems Good for the Price & The sounds are nice & clear also, Thanks for sharing your video enjoyed it .

Spend some more time at the range learn to make a good clean kill one shot. Not three or four.

Great vid anyway, I have the same problem with red foxes when there are dead sheep , they will not take any notice of the call or anything, but when you have a dead cow or sheep I know the foxes will be there for a free meal ticket look forward to more videos atvb steve

You're right who needs 200 calls 😒. I got the ico gc300 just now at midway for 63 bucks so at that price point I couldn't say no

Just wanted to add an update... I have the ICOTEC 350... It works great... Got it on Amazon for $130.00... You can also get the AD400 Attachable Electronic Predator Decoy for another $50.00 on Amazon... Total investment of $180.00 delivered... I have not used it for hunting yet, but it will play any MP3 file that is 16 bit or less... We do a Halloween haunted hay ride at a friends campground... I was able to download free Halloween sounds and put them on the ICOTEC 350... We played and changed up the various recording from a good distance... I'm not familiar with the FOXPRO at all... This is my first attempt at using electronic game calls, but I'm very impressed with the sound, and functions of the ICOTEC 350... Thanks for your video... I had not tested it for ranges yet, but feel confident based on your video that it will work...
