That's so awesome, brother... beautiful BougeRV E40! 🎣🐟
Thank you. It works really well.
Oh snap, brother @fishing2real... That was my first time to seen that. Outstanding video and thank you for sharing. Keep on fishing and stay safe! 🎣🐟🤙🏾
That was the first time for me as well. A time to never forget.
Nice
Thanks, it’s a great unit!
Nice video enjoy
Thank you. I can't wait until I can go after them again.
Good afternoon, brother and thank you for sharing. Keep on fishing and Tight Lines! 🐟🎣 th-cam.com/video/qjXi07gMKiU/w-d-xo.html
Thank you.
Just recently started camping again. Purchased my BougeRV freezer/fridge. This think is freaking amazing. It will chill down very quickly and it will keep your food super cold. I don't use it as a freezer, but it will sure keep some beer cold, along with food. Love it!
Thank you for the comment. It works well and heard only good things.
I can think of so many ways to use that ice chest! Is there a clip for the battery pack? Great review
No video of the battery pack my next video. Thanks tried to show all of its qualities.
What size of rods do you use?
H20 express 12 ft 2oz to 60z Rod with a 8000 Penn Battle 2 reel with 25lb braid to 40 lb mono shock leader. My othe rod is av12 ft Ugly Stik heavy Big Water 3oz to 8oz with a 6000 Penn Fierce 3 reel with 25lb braid to 40lb mono shock leader. The setup get smaller from there as for what the rod calls for. I try not to go over the load of the rod in weight and the line strength. Hope this helps.
Them Poor Man's Tarpon are some good cut bait for Red Fish.!!!
@@joesauceda1439 I've heard. Got a fishing buddy who loves to cut it up and go after monster Red Drum.
I haven't seen you measure one fish before you put it on the stringer,, in the Guadalupe river they have to be a minimum of 12"s. I believe you are keeping illegal fish...😮😮😮, Are you checking size limits before you fish?
No need to measure any of my fish. They aren't part of regulations areas. I only keep legal fish. Do you check your TPWD Regulations book before commenting?
I'm pretty sure that the trout is supposed to be 12" to 18" . nothing smaller than 12". Nothing larger than 18". Limit 5 .
You are 100% correct if I was in the zones where the size limits exist. The Dam area is not part of those zones. I was not 800yd away from the Canyon Lake Dam. Below are the regulations straight from the TPWD Regulations book. Trout Outside special trout zones For rainbow and brown trout, their hybrids and subspecies, there is no minimum length and daily bag limit = 5 trout in any combination. Trout Trout Zone 1: 800 yards downstream from Canyon Dam release downstream to east bridge on Hwy 306 For rainbow and brown trout, length limit is a 12-18 inch slot. Trout 12 inches and less or 18 inches or greater in length may be retained. Daily bag = 5 trout and only one trout 18 inches or longer may be retained. Harvest of trout is by artificial lures only. See Pole and Line for special restrictions on lures in this area.
Excellent job guys
Thank you.
Mangrove Snapper... good eating.
Really good eating. Taste like Red Snapper.
❤ great job
Thank you.
Where's everyone at ?
Not to sure this was early Friday morning.
Great Video
Thank you.
I was there at Packery this morning and got a 20’ flounder and moved to Bob hall and got a 26’ red under the pier.
That's sick. I always miss the Flounder bite but nice catches.
@@fishing2real Thanks
Nice red
Thank you.
I was there a couple months ago and nothing
The fish were active this day. It's finally coming off this is the time to go.
Nice I’m going Thursday
@@jasonbarbosa8150 good luck
Great video and Nice Red! That definitely was a crazy catch! 👊🏽
Thanks. It was an unforgettable day for me. 👊🏼
Not too bad nice red and drum God bless
Thank you. God bless.
Been fishing there for a long while, but no catches, been using live bait, guess i should aim for shrimp instead. I'll get lucky at some point.
Keep at it. A lot of other factors can go into not catching. Depth, temperature, time of day, and presentation of bait. If you ever want to some tips let me know. Good luck out there.
Heck of a Red Snapper cleaning video,I picked up a few new things watching!
Thank you. Glad I could help out on your next fish cleaning
Thanks for sharing that's going to be some real good eating. God bless
No problem. Yes it will be hood eat one of the best tasting fish out there.
Sir question like never been fishing ..and I know it is a patient thing to do but how long did it take you to catch 3?
It took a total of probably 6 or so hours. Was there from about 8:30 a.m. and left around 2:00 p.m. But it is not uncommon to be out there all day to catch one. Everyday is different. My suggestion is get there early and fish until you can't anymore.
@@fishing2real Ok I will try it thanks
No problem. Try to get your bait out as far as you can. Some times that means walking in the water.
@@fishing2real Oh ok I see ... And there are rules there?
Yes, can't go swimming in the lake but walking out your bait is aloud. As far as rules Calaveras and Brauning for Red Drum size are still a minimum 20 inches to keep but there is not a max size. This is due to them not being able to spawn in freshwater. I have my own theory regarding that.
Got a fishing partner for life now
I know it's awesome.
Well done on this 27 1/2'' Redfish, brother @Fishing2Real and little man was so happy to see daddy catch dinner. Start them young and they never get in trouble... Stop by my Channel and say hello. Stay blessed and keep on fishing! 🎣🐟
Thank you. I'm trying to make sure he understands the enjoyment and what fishing is all about.
Amen to that@@fishing2realand that what I did with my 21 year-old son, MJ! 💯 🤙🏾
That's awesome. Glad to hear that it makes good men.
How do you make reservations for the tables?
Call the park and ask to reserve a table if you have a specific number let them know ow that is the table you want. I don't reserve the tables. They are free to use as long as it is not reserved.
@@fishing2real ah ok thanks. I remember seeing “reservations only” on there, just wanted to make sure. 👍
It does sat that on it but if it is reserved you must move 15+ feet away from it. I give way more room than 15+ feet to allow someone who reserved it can enjoy it.
Nice snapper trip y'all did good i haven't been deep sea fishing in a while. Maybe new year until next time take care and God bless.
Thank you. You should check it out. I think snapper is ending very soon. Recommend a trip. Thank you take care and God bless.
Good times! Cooked that Snapper two days ago and now that the freezer is empty we might have to plan another. Great video
It was really a great time. We might have to go again. Get the freezer filled up again. Thanks.
Red drum like a redfish? Saltwater?
Yes, it is a Red Drum like a redfish. Not saltwater it is freshwater. San Antonio area lakes are stocked with Red Drum.
Outstanding bro, Glad I have those times with my son too. <3
They really are unforgettable.
Great video! Little man reeled in a good fish!
Thanks. He did can't wait until he does it from start to finish one day.
Great job getting your little one involved Sure enjoy watching your videos
Thanks. I want him to enjoy fishing and see what it's all about. Thanks for watching.
Dang it seems like yesterday he was a baby. Now he's out fishing with you kids grow fast. God bless
I feel the same way. Thanks for watching. God bless
That’s awesome bro.. those memories with lil man will last a lifetime… how’s the bite been since that turnover??
Still talks about fishing all the time. I went the day before the tunerover working on the video now. I haven't been back since. Way to hot out there.
Good job God bless
Thank you. God Bless
Is this primrosa point area?
Not to sure where that is but this was at Table 7.
@fishing2real oh OK. The spots are identified by numbers?
The tables are identified with numbers. They have a few areas with names but I'm only familiar with spider island by the boat ramp.
@fishing2real cool deal. One day I need to go try it out. I understand you have to reserve it too
Yea check it out. Even when I don't catch keepers I usually get action. No you don't have to reserve it to use it but if someone reserved it then you have to be 15 feet away from the Table site. I usually just go somewhere else and give the person their space.
Good looking filets. Great video! Just subbed 😎
Thank you. Appreciate it the sub.
That was a dinosaur gafftop! Nice filets Bro! See you out there soon
Thanks most definitely.
A nice gaff top was out there for Father's Day caught one about the same size. You no if you cut under the head they have two nice stones in their head. God bless
Thanks. Never knew that I'll see if I can find the stones next time I catch one.
Well done, brother @fishing2real and thank you for sharing your video! 🐟
Thank you. I'll keep sharing when I can. Been rough out there with the weather changes.
Watch out for them gators.
I always do. Thank you though.
I didn’t knw red fish go that far in the river system and into a lake that deep in texas
The Red Drum don't come that far up river. Calaveras Lake is a man made lake for CPS energy. The TPWD stocks the Red Drum, from what I heard to keep the Talapia population down. Check out the history of the Calaveras Red Drum aren't the only saltwater native fish they have stocked in it. Pretty cool.
Thanks for the info….👍
No problem.
Outstanding job, little man and fish on... teach him young, brother! 🐟
Thank you. He love fishing, might even try to out fish me one day. He has a fee years before that could happen.
Were can I get the fishing pole holder from I like the one you gave me
The rod holder in the video is built by myself. If your interested send me an email: Fishing2realthemin@gmail.com but I haven't given a rod holder to anyone.
Outstanding 😊
Thank you. Much appreciated.
I see you broke in your new ice chest the right way! Nice catches!
Oh yea it was heavy on the walk back to the truck but I was happy to pull it. Thanks, let's see if we can get oj some fish together soon.
That's what I'm talking about you and your pops. Don't y'all think what size hook you were using? God bless
We had a good time out there. Nothing like having a great fishing partner. We use smaller hooks like a 1/0 or 2/0 Khale/croaker hooks for the Sheepshead so the hook gets in their mouths.
Great video. Gonna take the boat and try Tuesday.
Thank you. Nice it's warming up so try over by the crappie wall and fish drop-offs around the area with shrimp and live bait if you catch any. If you troll try a crankbait and a silver spoon.
