Saw this on DirtBike lunatic, I go through that intersection on my bike all the time, pretty cool. I hear we are getting the filtering confusion actually clarified soon...although I know when I do it here I get yelled at as well, making it legal won't change redneck mentality sadly...stay safe out there!

I personally don't care if you lane split, filter, or make your motorcycle do cartwheels in between vehicles. I'm 100% for lane splitting and filtering, but Arkansas does not allow it. You might want to chill out on that. If not, an ASP trooper will remind you if they see that...and they will catch that slow Harley if you try to run. You might end up on Natural State Transparency whether you run or not.

Regardless of what you may think, Lane filtering is not legal in Arkansas because the state does not have any specific laws or regulations that address it. Arkansas's traffic safety and etiquette statute states that vehicles should stay in a single lane and not move until it's safe to do so. There are five states that allow lane filtering: Arizona, Montana, Hawaii, Utah, and Colorado. California lane splitting is NOT the same as filtering and California is the only state that allows lane splitting where you can cruise on the freeway splitting lanes in moving traffic. Filtering is moving between stopped cars. Multiple law firms (like - Law Tigers) confirm filtering and/or splitting is NOT legal in Arkansas.

When you caught back up with her downl the road and safely merged into her lane when she had about five car lengths between her and the red truck. You did everything right, thank you for having a head cam ensuring no false accusations against a motorcyclist. Well done!
