This band is and was fantastic. Chrissie Hynde is one of the best female rock singers there is. Her music and her grit has been very influential in my life, ever since this album was released in the late 70's. Early Brit punk/new wave with a tough chick from Akron, Ohio to front them. Love it. ❤

If you really want to do a deep dive, check out Van Halen III. They couldn’t get a full reunion with Diamond Dave or Sammy, so they picked up Gary Cherrone from Extreme. I like Extreme, but unfortunately they became known for More than Words and it ruined them as a hard rock band. The stuff off the album is more of a collection of Eddie’s “science projects” and experiments. He even did vocals on a song. With the egos of the band at the time as well as the fan backlash, Gary didn’t last. I like the stuff from it but nothing got any real play time on the radio.

Nice to a good honest reaction. As a huge Straits fan since the mid-80s I've always found this a very average song too, although much better live.

There is a wonderful official live version from the live gig "On The Night" in 1993. It was a concert from their huge final tour from 1991/92. I was so lucky to see this tour in London in 1992 as a 16 year old. Mind-blowing stuff. Great reaction.

Unlucky Morpheus did a side project called QUADRATUM From Unlucky Morpheus, QUADRATUM for short. It was done by 4 members of the group 1 guitar, bass drums and violin, As Fuki, UM's singer said the violin acts as a singer. The outfits they wear on stage, are either designed or chosen by the singer Fuki, as she has a degree in fashion and design.

Her family always sang in Spanish at home as her father is part Mexican. Her breath control to do that one long note, then the next part in one breath. It’s fabulous.

Alex, the drummer Kate's dad, acts as their producer, sound engineer, videographer and director for their videos, chauffeur, manager, and their "Dadager." They joke that he is the sixth Sixster. I, too, am very impressed with the mixing on all their music.

Ha told you you were gonna like this one. Alex Katya’s father does all the mixing and recording so he’s definitely going to get the the Drums miked and mixed right and he’s had about six years to perfect it.
