The video was helpful, but for me PGP key errors seen on packstrap-ing... After initialising the keys it worked.. used "pacman-key --init && pacman-key --populate archlinux" before packstrap Thank you for the precise explanation..
Also, after typing in "vga=0x342" how do I set it back to default?

At grub config we must also uncomment GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER=false multilib haven't enabled after edit of /etc/pacman/pacman.conf
in my case,, pacman directory was not found,... what is the solution?

Hi, i'm having an issue when i change the filesystem of sda3 with mkfs.ext4. it says is apparently in use by the system. Any ideas?
:)You have to install DE after doing all of that
Anyone could help me with the mount ? when i run mount /dev/sda3 /mnt I get this error: unknown filesystem ext4

This was so helpful. I was initially trying with EFI partition in proxmox and was constantly running into issues. In the above BIOS partition method, it worked perfectly in the first attempt.
EFI variables are not supported on this system, amirite?

Arch linux does not come with a "gui" you must install a window manager or desktop environment yourself

Thank you so much for this guide it helped me a lot. Is there anywhere specific to learn Linux and commands so I can actually take advantage of what arch is capable of doing? I'm a student studying cyber security and I'm just intrigued by Linux servers and stuff like that. We have gone over some Linux commands and server related stuff before but not into to much detail like you showed in your video.
How to remove ada disk, I have removed this VM but ada is still running in my drive ..
