Hare krishna… no hate, i would like to reply as good as I can… Complete surrender is a very long process, and is attained after decades of continued devotional service… so we have to first learn and practice it for a very long time… so who do we learn it from? From the acharyas. All the acharyas woke up in brahma muhurt, so we should follow their instructions. And as far as complete surrender is concerned, a completely surrendered person should be restless without God and not feel sleepy at all😊… thank you.. hare krishna

And some rules (like 4 regulative principles) are some rules set by god himself… like a university sets certain qualifications to attain a degree, similarly…. Hope it helped 😊

@@atharvashinde1375 yeah I definitely get it but it's like nowadays people stress more on how to please God through doing this and that than actually loving him wholeheartedly.... Yk, many people I know follow every rule of devotion, but lacks compassion for others and true love for God from within (they insult other forms of God).... So yeah that's why I said... Even I don't mean any Hate

@@sromonasengupta9-c512 yes, i agree… that as we follow devotional practices, we should have a will to develop the love for lord. Chaitanya Mahāprabhu gave 3 instructions: name ruchi, jive daya, vaishnava seva. All such rules are meant to improve ruchi in the name of the lord. And by preaching, shastra reading, and seva, one can implement jive daya. And i also agree that a devotee (i am saying from pov of gaudiya vaishnava) should never insult anyone else… as it is strictly against the teachings in updeshamrit “trnad api sunicena taror api sahishuna amananina manadina kirtaniya sada harih”. And as far as vaishnav seva is considered, utmost humility is strictly required…
