So you need a separate servo just for the gear? Is the heli 7 channels minimum?
The landing gear uses it's own servo, so you'll need a channel for it so you'll need at least 7 channels.

I used a Sony FDR-AX33. I filmed this handheld, and I remember how I was sweating and shaking after filming all these guys got over an hour!

Ben's was one of my favorite ones. I really didn't like the ones with all the gimmicks as much as Ben's and Jamie's technical flights.
I did these with a Sony AX33, my iPhone would be tough to keep up on the zooming!

I agree about the tracking speed. They have a new version coming out that tracks about twice as fast, I'm looking forward to seeing if we'll be able to use this for helicopters.
Great idea but the device seems not fast enough to track and keep the model in frame and in focus. A Mobius strapped to a head cap or pair of modified glasses, will do much better IMHO. Agree-disagree? , I'd like to hear about it.

well in this hobby its hard for me to just try to enjoy it with out tearing it up and im down to because i cant get my trex 700 back up and running are anything else and to watch some one just crash it for fun makes me sad. im sure its fun but i know i wouldnt do it regradless.
