This is the borderlands game I have the lowest play time on but I'm pretty sure that was only because I got stuck on the jet boss near the end of game on playthrough 2 with Nisha and I just kinda gave up on it a while back. So far Athena has been fun though and I am having enjoying my time with the game again.

@ I loved playing as her, sure it wasn’t as good as the other games at the time but the pre sequel was still a pretty fun game and it was good for what it was

I enjoy it because it explains what happened between Borderlands 1 and 2, along with who Jack is and where he came from. I get the feeling I will enjoy Athena more than Nisha since she seems very squishy, and Athena seems to have better defensive abilities. I usually play sirens also because of their elemental enhancements, and hopefully, I'll be able to emulate that to a certain degree with Athena.

@@skirmix i don’t think people wanted to give it a chance given borderlands 2 was just so big at the time, but the story was pretty good, its a good connection to both games. Athena was my go to on here and from what I remember I liked her the most.

I wouldn't be surprised if borderlands 2's popularity affected pre-sequel and the game got overshadowed by it

If it's compatible with the steam deck, it seems like an interesting idea.

Thanks. When I first tried the Crimson Ashlands, I had trouble, but after I farmed the Ashwrought weapons, it became easier to deal with. The weapon perks are pretty good. Working around the Ash Anomalies can be a pain. For some of them, I just waited until the next one came around, and for others, I used it to my advantage. Getting perfect blocks on the Ashborn can also help with the devour attacks they have so they don't transform.

I just checked it seems to be Ein and his engage. I'm not sure if it has to be the To the Promised Land engage or just his normal Enhanced Reflexes though.

Good to know. Thanks, I will look into the key binds at some point. I know I can switch from rifle to pistol with x but if I can switch to a different rifle quickly that could be nice depending on the situation.

Yeah, it would have been nice to have the character-building between the team and the player earlier in the game. Unfortunately, if I remember correctly all the traversing the past were released after the main game. Hopefully, there will be a God Eater 4 at some point since I want to see what they do with the world of God Eater next. Scarlet Nexus does do character-building between main story phases.

Probably, I wouldn't be surprised if Soma saw Phym in a similar way to Shio

You can do them in any order after Claire's. The only one that cant be done immediately after Claire's is Ein's since all the others have to be done before hand.

Yeah, Dromi's are pains to deal with but if it has the same weaknesses as the normal version it should be weak to spark also if you can time it right you can dive into its jaws when its going to devour and get a perfect guard off to cancel its devour. you can also just run in a tight circle when its close and it will just follow you and not catch up. I dont remember what the slash/crush/pierce weakness is for it is but you can also try to exploit that weakness. not sure if any of this will help but hopefully it does.

I double checked the endings out of curiosity and noticed that restoring the successors lead to either the neutral or good endings which is fine for me. I didn't actually know what I was doing after that cutscene with Aurora was done, I just saw the interact option and hit it without much thought.

I actually did kill that bigger enemy I just cut it out of the video as it was originally an 1 hour and 40 min recording and I wanted to focus it to when I figured out where to go. The mark of honor stuff I probably wont focus on necessarily if I find them that's fine. Anyway for the endings I'm not sure if I'm gonna go for all 4(?) endings or just the first one I end up getting I might go for all of them if it doesn't end up being a huge pain. The comment length is fine your information is useful for me since this is my first souls-like game and gives me stuff to consider moving forward

@@skirmix Great, I kinda felt overbearing writing text's as long as my index finger, and I try to keep the info to 2-3 things that may come up in the episodes, furthermore its impossible to get all the endings in one play-through for reasons i wont say bc of spoilers and yes it kinda is a pain especially getting the true ending by finding all the vestiges in ng+, typically soulsborne/likes get harder in every ng+ up to ng+7 and its especially noticeable in CV

After code vein I was going to do scarlet nexus after that I'm not sure yet. About the crossed out stuff I just equipped one of the crossed out armor pieces and saw a message pop up about stats so I know that now as well

Great video, 5 sec into the vid a boss fight and yakumo brings mayham to the exploration xD I forgot to mention in the first episode you missed a chest right where you part with collin (the dude that became the first boss) it contains an easteregg weapon you definetly recognize and the only weapon in the game that prevents you from dying when you block is the Zweihänder, you need to enhance it with the crafting material that you can get from yakumo "atlas chrome" but you wont be able to dodge fast with it tho, atleast not with the bloodcodes you currently have

Alright good to know, if I end up having to return to the ruined city I'll probably go get that chest by the Oliver boss fight. That or I will do it when I'm not recording.

Wait, I just checked if my info on the weapon was right! It seems to have been a pre order bonus so possibly its not there but where the cut scene in wich collin got his mask slapped from his face played is atleast a chest with a pretty nice sword

I figured out the vestiges with Io after the episode ended and I did go back to pick up that one vestige I left behind by the parking lot in the last episode before I started recording today. The other paths I left unexplored I will either do in a later episode or when I'm not recording. I will probably go to the NPC in a later video though if they are still there I'm assuming they don't leave.

I get the feeling parrying is going to be similar to perfect guards in GE3 for me where eventually I will get somewhat used to it. I will try to spend some time on learning it this week since I can still take some hits at the moment.

Thanks for the extra info. I get the feeling that I'm going to have a lot to learn and get used to a bunch of different mechanics. Hopefully after some more time in the game things start to become more intuitive and I can figure out how to make builds and balance stats more efficiently.

That mission could have gone better for me but as long as you know how to use the anomalies to your advantage it shouldn't be too bad

Operation Twilight is unlocked after encountering and I assume beating the Odin and Operation Last Twilight should be unlocked after completing Operation Twilight

​@@skirmix I have already beaten Odin in the final boss way before but the Assault mission for Megiddo Odin just doesn't show up 😮‍💨

@@Yanagi-wn9md Hmm not sure then. When I looked at the wiki for the assault missions it just said you had to encounter the first version to unlock the adaptive version.

@@Yanagi-wn9md After looking online a bit more you might have to complete Twilight of the Hounds although that's just fighting all Ashborn back to back so I'm not sure why it would be locked behind that. When I started doing all the assault missions it was already unlocked for me so I don't know what I did to unlock it in the first place.

Well, Hugo did comment on his intelligence before with Phym, and Zeke himself does say he's not the smartest so I guess he knows but doesn't let it bother him all that much. Although yeah Zeke does seem to enjoy taunting the Aragami

I think it was mainly the health regeneration I didn't disable and the fact I wasn't hitting the crit points a lot but it could have had other effects added that I wasn't aware of

if you mean the bind debuff which disables the ashwrought healing I didn't either until I looked up what bind did and saw that listed as one of the things bind does

yeah, when its in burst it gets pretty dangerous but I can probably farm it easily enough for its god arcs

Yeah, I plan on attempting to finish those on Monday and Tuesday. I think the god arcs will help with that.
