@davelawrence9545 Thanks Dave! There were some tight shots with some close non threats, but everything was pretty close so it wasn’t that difficult of a match. I was down 4 through 6 stages before my meltdown on standards. I hope you’re healing up well, I want to see you at some matches this spring!

@stephenmurata I wear AimCam glasses. The footage was poor from this range. We were shooting directly into the sun and I didn’t have time to adjust the settings. My other videos have much better footage.

@Platoon_Guide I’m shooting an indoor major in a few weeks where there will be a few dark stages. My Q5 is at the weight limit, so I can’t add a WML, so I’m going to build out my 4” poly PDP. Just got a TLR-7 HLX and a holster for it. Now I’m waiting on the magwell and some talon grips. It’s got an old Delta Point pro on it. Switching right back after.

@jimmorrison306 This was a major championship held near Evansville Indiana. We hold monthly matches in central KY, Wilmore to be exact. Also, Ashland gun club holds monthly matches if you’re near Ashland.

@jimmorrison306 I’m aware of Putnam, but haven’t been there. When my schedule aligns, I’ll probably shoot a match there. I’ve competed at more than 450 matches in the past 8 years and this match near Evansville is the only place I’ve ever seen actual drywall walls! Every year that stage is the highlight of the championship!

@BabyGiraffeIDPA I would join you, but I prefer to shoot Sunday at two day matches. It’s just a personal preference. I haven’t signed up yet, but I haven’t missed GA state in several years. I’m sure I’ll make it.

@travispowell2471 Thanks man! It’s definitely hard to shoot with that much smoke. I had to make up a few shots because I couldn’t call them all. This ammo was factory reloads from Supervel. I love their ammo but it’s a little smokey. I don’t have any reloading experience. I keep telling myself I’m going to get into it but haven’t. Maybe one day 😁

@teamedgewise6276 thanks man! Yeah, I got a little off balance on the one fault line. I engaged while falling over the line and I called one shot a little bit high. I made up that shot at the end and it turned out I didn’t need to. They were both in the zero already. It worked out.

@faustinoreyes5914 my pistol is 12 yards. I’m not sure what this rifle was zeroed at. This was a pick-up gun that everyone used.

@alphamikeno-shoot1310 you’re right, each target has to be fully engaged or it’s a PE. It can be argued that my 3rd shot of that array was a terrible one and missed the intended target. If you watch it back, you will see that I fired 4 shots at 2 targets. I had planned to re-engage the 2nd target later in the stage and I was able to zero it.

@kevinjohnson3925 I haven’t added it up yet. I do that once a year. After last season it was above 30k. Probably 40 on this particular dot. It’s showing its age, the buttons don’t want to work anymore! 😂

@dontunstall4443 You’re the first person to ask! So, there were 3 targets available from the table, but the middle one was “obscured” by a vision barrier. There was a hole in the wall so you could use the small portion of the target that you could see to reference where the scoring zone was. Everyone had to shoot through the vision barrier to get that target.

@chrisharris6834 That’s what the scoreboard says. It also said I hit a NT 😂. I tried to put 4 rounds on a swinger in a single pass, and pulled my last shot into a NT. Ever heard of someone going zero down and NOT winning the most accurate trophy? 😂😂

@@chrisharris6834Them’s the rules! 😂 Very pleased overall. I’ve been on fire lately. 4 out of 5 major wins in the past 8 weeks and I’m 2 for 2 winning guns in GSSF! This season ended on a high note! Now I need to carry that momentum into next year. 🤞

What types of red dots do you run cause mines are small windows

@faustinoreyes5914 this one is a Sig Romeo 3XL. It’s been fantastic! I have a holosun 507Comp on my backup gun and it’s also great. I’ve been lucky with dots, I haven’t gotten any lemons.
