Clear all faults. Program ALL KEYS LOST if you don't have a key. After market keys will leave you with one foul on the dash and that's the little key sign. What equipment are you using to program the key?

@@yiannakosautomotivekeys2380 they dont lock/unlock with the key, i replaced the key battery (is my only key) and the battery og the car was disconected and now i want to know if is the key or the eis

@@ChillRighty Hi. Just seen your comment. If the ignition does not turn while on the car, there are two possible problems. 1. The key has lost it's data or gone wrong and 2. the ignition switch (EIS) has gone wrong.

@Garreslittlefarm Sorry for the late reply. I never got a notification.The higher mileage WINS. In your case the cluster wins. When you sync the two, the cluster mileage will show up. I believe Xentry should be able to sync the cluster & EIS. Clear TDC's.

@jordysandino6577 - Hi. The reason of desoldering the pins is because their solder cracks due to the heat. You cannot tell that the solder is cracked, unless you view them under a camera (microscope).

Yes you can unlock it first and then use it to program to another car.

Nissan keys do NOT need to be unlocked. You can re-program them to another car with no problem. I did many of them, especially on Nissan Notes.

@@carremote8651 Are talking about the same key? If that's the case, you can only renew original keys, NOT aftermarket keys. You can renew some Nissan using Xhorse Mini Key Tool or KDIY.

Hello! Really Interesting video, so if the cluster have lower mileage than the EIS why didn’t it show the higher mileage from the EIS on the cluster automatically?

I plan to change my Low-line cluster to a High-line cluster, like the looks more of the High-line. So if I replace it with a lower mileage High-line cluster then on the mileage stored on my EIS will it then show the correct mileage on my cluster?

@@tobiaslangstrom3689 No. You'll need to zero out the mileage on the EIS, so when you put it back to the car it will sync itself to the mileage of the cluster. In your case the EIS has lower mileage than the cluster. As soon as you connect the cluster the EIS will sync to the cluster's mileage because the highest mileage WINS.

@@tobiaslangstrom3689 It should have done. In some cases you need a diagnostic tool to command the cluster to synchronise itself to the EIS or the cluster is not compatible.

You can obtain information from the engine ECU and program a new/used EIS.

@@juanrendon3639 Hi. You need to get the information from the Engine ECU. From there you can generate EIS file. You will also need the SSID which you can get from any of the keys assuming that you do have a key.

@Proud Papa - Hi Greg. Yes it should work as long as the EIS is an FBS3 generation. After 2014 Mercedes changed their 3rd generation (FBS3) to fourth generation (FBS4) system. FBS4 systems, at the moment can be programmed by Mercedes only. I hope this helps.

@Proud Papa - Sorry Greg I just noticed your vehicle is a 2003 so it should be just fine. Tomorrow I will be cloning a w639 VITO VAN EIS and I will film that as well, so keep an eye.

@whitey rose - Not only are expensive to update, they cannot correct many of the cars being on their menu. Basically they sell you a tool that has lets say 60 cars on the menu but it can only do 35 of them. In other words you pay for something that says it can do ABC but it can't. Ridiculous.

@@sadaly4676 There is no way to know that. There are many cars in the menu, but one I have tried could not be done. For example a Mercedes w207. You'll need to try all the cars to find out which can be done and which cannot.

@Kevin Pinson When you clone the EIS the original keys will work. No need to program new key(s). The programmer is called "Xhorse VVDI Prog". You can search google. With regards to the adapters you can do all this without them, but you'll have to solder cables that come with the programmer to the EIS. The programmer has wiring diagrams as to where to solder and what colour cable. I hope this makes sense & helps.

@SprinterFix When a friend of mine (Mechanic) had a look at it and scanned it with his scanner, he told me that the injectors were not firing up. So I will be replacing the injector's drivers, all four of them on the old ECU (when they arrive) and see if the faulty ECU can start the engine.

@@yiannakosautomotivekeys2380 injector drivers? what are those? I am not familiar, if ecu is not firing injectors its usually either because of low crank rpms, low fuel pressure, or sync between crank and cam, I assume that qc valve code u mentioned a while back is causing low fuel pressure and thus ecu is not trying to fire injectors.

@@sprinterfix No no no. I soon as I changed the ECU everything worked, so non of what you mention is at fault. I measured the injector drivers in the ECU and I am not getting any readings on all four of them.

@@yiannakosautomotivekeys2380 ahhh I see, now that makes sense, I have done very little work on the ecu itself, they are tough to open haha and I am not good at soldering. I am looking forward to seeing a video of the ecu being soldered.

@@sprinterfix If you open e few ECUs then you can get the hung on opening them and then it becomes easier and easier. I'll show you when you come to Cyprus lol.

Do you know if it can be done the same way on a Kefico 7.9.0 of a Hyundai Atos?

If you are talking about the large black wire that connects to the EIS (ignition switch) that wire goes to the gear stick. As soon as you turn the ignition ON, it releases the gear stick so you can change gears.

@@HoodStar413z Software come with VVDI Prog. Adapters have no software they just connect to the Programmer.
