What's up Boulderkada! New bouldering gym alert! 🧗♂️The bouldering scene in the Philippines is growing FAST, and Bhive (The Bouldering Hive) is leading the charge! Bhive has expanded into its SECOND branch at GREENHILLS Shopping Center, San Juan City.
In this vlog, we take you inside their newest branch to show off the incredible walls and facilities! We'll also have a talk with the owner, Christoph, on how the gym started.
I'm really excited on what's in store for the bouldering scene in the Philippines!

You should move your right hand to the second last hold instead of your left, or just match it.

Is there a lead climbing gym here in metro manila? I have been in bhive ayala circuit makati branch and it was a great experience. I also want to try lead climbing but sadly there is no lead climbing wall (I don't really know what you call that) in the branch and based on your video there's no such wall as well. I wish I could also try lead climbing maybe after doing bouldering for a month.
@@gilbertcortez6081 hi! yes there is in Climb Central Manila or Power Up Alabang but you have to be lead certified first. You may check out a previous video I made in power up alabang for lead climbing 😀
@@AEClimbingTV thank you. I did not know you needed a certificate.
@@gilbertcortez6081 yup! you'll have to undergo a course (which takes 2-3 sessions I think) before you get lead certified.
But prior to getting lead-certified, you can already do top-rope climbing without certification before moving on to lead! So you get used to the height and endurance. @gilbertcortez6081
