      @@minilroy8774 abductors are cut or trochanteric osteotomy is done in AnteroLateral approach. Neither is done in DAA; No muscle cut vs abductors damage.

But after 6 months even with any approach technique, the new hip joint must be similar after recovery and strengthening.I wonder why different doctors say different instructions like some allow cross leg sitting and others don't for these approaches. Is it considering for a factor of safety?

      @@minilroy8774 You’re correct that after 6 months, all joints will be same. But if I can offer no restrictions to everyone from the first day of surgery, return to function within days, I’ll prefer that over any other approach.
