I love daughter of the Pirate King. Depending on how old your daughter is I love Sara J Mass Court of Thorns and Roses, Daughter of the Moon Goddess is a good one and Nora Roberts recently put out a set of young adult books starting with The Awakening. I couldn't put that one down and had to read the following two.

It's too bad their service has gone way down. I bought a 3 month subscription and had to remind then every month to actually send my box. I still have yet to receive word my July box has shipped. I just wrote them to ask them to either ship my box or refund it.
I only had to contact them once and a day or two later I got notified it had shipped, then a few days later I got another notification. They sent me two boxes that month. I emailed and let them know to see if they wanted me to send the extra back and they said I could keep it. I’ve had nothing but great service with them.

I stopped getting scribbler because the books were always terrible.
I've been so backlogged on my reading, due to going back to college for my Masters degree, so I haven't read the last few books they have sent, but I love the items.
@@dlsbooknook2468what masters are you doing? I have a masters in creative writing from Lancaster University, UK. Was thinking about doing a PHD, exploring the whole process of editing but my health has got really bad, irreversibly, so that’s just not possible.
Thanks for posting this. I tried scribbler a couple times and was disappointed. I was curious after the February emails promising a giant author and am glad I wasn’t swayed. To be fair I think my book tastes don’t fit with what they typically feature.

I'm disappointed they didn't add the candles. I thought the items in this box were a bit blah and not worth the $60 I paid vs other cheaper boxes like Fairyloot and you get actual cool stuff. I also canceled my subscription long ago due to the processing time it takes them to send out their boxes.
I’m assuming you were joking about BB doing the best with catching up on delays. BB has an average of 2-3 months of delays, whereas IC and FL are mostly shipping on time.
At the time I was getting my BB really quickly but they are slowing down again, I am getting my FL and IL at decent times though, obviously, not as quickly as the Brits since they are coming from over there. This month I have not gotten my BB or IL but have already gotten my FL. I think it goes back and forth depending on the items they are waiting on.

I wasn't blown away by the embossing on the hardcover but I do like the alternate color dust jacket. The notebook is my favorite item in the box.
Mine too. I had to go buy a silver pen just so I could test it out, but I do love the book. I looked at a fairyloot verison and I think they may have done it better though.
