1976 Honda CB 500 Four K2 walk around, engine start, sound
มุมมอง 21K2 ปีที่แล้ว
A short walk around my classic, 1976, Honda CB 500 Four K2. Including engine start & sound. I shot this video in March 2022 after work on the bike was done. The bike now has the K2 fuel tank in Candy Sapphire Blue. I have added the right K2 badges to the side covers and the K2 rear bumber has been added as well. Both wheels have been rebuilt and the bike also has new fenders.

A short walk around my classic, 1976, Honda CB 500 Four K2. Including sound. I shot this video in early 2021 when the bike still had the K1 fuel tank in Candy Jade Green. Side covers and badges also still K1 at that time and the K2 rear bumber was missing. In a next video the bike will show in the K2 original Candy Sapphire Blue.

Nice bike. Shouldn't 'rev the s..' out of it before the oil has circulated properly through the cold engine. Excess wear. Patience.

Geeze, I loved this bike. I ran between Shreveport and Houston every couple of months from ‘72- 75 after I came home from the service. Great scoot, very thrifty, quiet. It set the standard for what I would ride from then on.

Lovely bike. I had one in the 1970s, and it took me to all the lower 48 states. But the rocker arm shaft was free to rotate within an aluminum casting. Eventually it wore enough play into the aluminum that adjusting the valves precisely was impossible. Then it was clickclickclickclick. :-( I traded it with about 55K miles.

Damn that’s beautiful. My 75 400 F is sweet, but not as perfect as this. On the other hand, it has 22,000 miles - this has 66,000km? About 44,000 miles? Superb resto.

I had a 1973 CB500, the last year made before Honda went to the CB550. Your title is incorrect stating it to be a 1976., in 1976 it would have been a CB550. Yours is gorgeous, take good care of it.

This was my first bike when I got home from the service in 71. Great scoot for daily runs to work or weekend rides down to Houston from Shreveport. Quiet, smooth, easy on gas and rarely needed any maintenance.

One can always tell when a '70's Honda four is happy. Smooth and revs freely, such as yours. In 1971, I purchased a new CB 750 K1 in candy garnet brown. I ride a '22 Z900 now, but always think about that bike.Early Honda fours were ahead of their time. You've done an exceptional job on this beauty. Thanks for sharing.
