You have to counter with the same grab input they use at the beginning of the grab in order for it to work even if it’s a grab string like this one you can brake the string but it has to be same grab inputs at the correct time and there are usually at least two different grab inputs so you have to guess

To a certain extent they’ve made this years Tekken easier for beginners to learn the game so eventually you’ll want to be more precise with your buttons and play style rather then mashing to win

I’m still new to Tekken myself so it all comes with time you put into the game

That’s kind of a hard decision for me always been a MK player but I’m diving into other fighters I like street fighter 6 as well Tekken is fresh to me so a whole lot to learn which makes it the most exciting for me to play as of now

Tbh I haven’t incorporated special style into what I’ve learned at all yet but as far as my combo strings go but I did try it out before learning what I did and it definitely is a crutch for new players who plan to mash

What you see displayed on the screen there isn’t the Speical style menu those are just suggested buttons from the practice arcade but I know what you mean

@@FatalElimz My advice for now is just to work on your movement, Side steps, Back dash, Wave dash and blocking. Once the game officially comes out you’ll have every tool possible to learn how to get better. Arcade quest is the best start since it’s pretty much a tutorial mode with a whole story mode included. There’s also guides here on TH-cam that have full combo strings for Jin if you want to try and learn some of them :)

No bot look at the lag happen in the bottom middle of the screen whole time ping was at 77 as soon as I’m about to finish the combo it spiked to over 100 ping and when it dropped immediately went back to normal it’s as easy as them exiting application and going right back to make that happen there multiple ways they lag spike people

Actually ping jumped over 200🤷🏽‍♂️

@@FatalElimzWith ping as high as 70 it’s bound to spike up to higher pings randomly in the match. Maybe you should stop overreacting thinking everyone has a lagswitch on this game. Many times I’ve had spikes in ping and dropped a combo doesn’t mean it’s a lagswitch bro

@nwohellfire5299 how about it only happen at that specific time in the game, we played a whole ranked set and didn’t lag once up until then 🙃
