The labyrinth and the butterfly, considered by some to be symbols of the Soul, both seem to represent possible changes in direction, and in the case of the butterfly, certainly transformation and at times rapid changes in direction. I've heard it said that the Soul loves to wander. 🦋

I am right now responding to that call for transformation within myself. I took Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey over a period of 25 years, but never imagined that my soul was leading me to my greatest challenge and transformation 5 years after it had ended. Like the sweeping crescendo in a piece of music, I feel the crashing of my two selves. My Higher Self is asking or demanding from me the final demise of my ego. It feels like a quantum leap of enormous proportions: a leap my whole 66 years of life were pushing me towards. I thought I had reached my mountain top in 2019, but then my soul has pushed me into the final 'raison d'etre' of my soul's incarnation. My butterfly needs to burst through not only my ego's fears, but through a societal web of lies, control and enmeshments, both economic, physical and emotional, before my spirit can finally shine its light fully. At this moment on our planet, we are all being asked to cower before the forces of power, fear and control and years of subtle conditioning so that the status quo can continue, but millions are not cowering because collectively our spirits inside our souls are learning for the high ground of our collective humanity. We know intuitively that the our individualistic societies have trapped us in a sickness from which we must break out in order to save ourselves collectively as a human family. We do this paradoxically individually in our own lives, but we are not really acting individually as the surface appearance may indicate. No. We each have souls which are the droplets inside a mighty collective river, moving each of us inexorably towards the Light of the Divine- however each of us conceive that Source of Love and Truth. Let us join together in understanding that our so-called individual battles for transformation are really all connected. Thank you Michael Meade.

At 72, I look back at my life and see that is has been a spiral dance of beginnings, endings, and new beginnings, ever widening and inclusive. I have heard people talk about life being a "vicious circle", but, in my expeerience, it's only that way for those who refuse the call of Eros to live and grow through the seasons of our lives. These later years have been a revelation of the Grace that underpins and pervades the All. I sometimes feel like a bright, blazing star tearing through the cosmos, knowing I will be welcomed by gentle death into the next cycle of life.

Usually you’re good but this was a sad state of affairs. I love your talks and your understanding of the human soul, but If you want to find authenticity and the cores of truth, you more than anyone, should know that both parties are corrupted, the uni party is always pro war and pro corporations, thus ignoring the needs of citizens, because the lobbyists rule both parties. If anything, Trump is an ugly face of the same corporate agenda driving both parties. If you get stuck on dogs and cats you’re missing the point. You should see through the propaganda, and take note of the fact that when it comes to wars, both parties are always in alignment. If anything, the democrats have now become even more hawkish than the republicans, and a black female, even though with a nicer rhetoric and slightly more digestible (or is she), will simply just put a nicer face on corporate America and her foreign wars, domestic decline and looting of the treasury. If you want to be spiritual about it, go deeper, and speak to the real root of the issue.

This is me right now. Have no idea how to proceed and transcend to find a safe home.
