Whenever shoot interviewers ask _'funniest guy in the locker room'_ it's invariably answered with _'Brad Armstrong'_ ... he was also one of the smoothest in ring technicians up there with Bobby Eaton, Bret Hart etc. RIP 🙏
We miss him to Scott. If I were a professional wrestler I would definitely want Brads skill set.He was amazing.
I really hope you guys keep making shows, I'd still like to hear more about refereeing Scott is so fucking cool and a great natural storyteller
Dude the fucking glasses story! Fuck yes. Yeah if something accidentally bumps into my glasses I can feel the vein in my forehead start pumping because I want to fucking bite somebody, even if I did it by accident. And yes adhesive is the absolute worst I do a lot of electrical work and the adhesive from the tape gets on my glasses and once you think you've gotten them completely clean is when you can finally smear the adhesive off of it and clean them again
Dude I can listen to Scott talk about anything. The stories that Scott will tell may seem random at first but he always has a way of tying everything together. It's like you guys had it scripted out or something . So natural, and then I noticed the one episode you guys had bullet points which you said later on ,I think it was episode 18, I notice the flow of the topics weren't as conducive the banter didn't come as naturally. Then on the very next episode you guys mentioned that you tried to write an outline for the show, and you totally don't need it! My only request is that we get a little heavier in the referee Department because not a lot of podcasts really get deep into the psychology of reffing making calls on the Fly and some of the more difficult Communications that a referee might have to make. You guys awesome man, if I was one of the boys or in production or something, I think Scott would probably be my dude✌️🤪👍👍❤️❤️🐕🎉🥇
Scott you're so fucking cool man. I think the issue with talking to the old-timers and asking them for advice is, when you're young, you don't know what questions to ask. You don't know, that you don't know
Joe Armstrong how about that juice wrld freestyle on Westworld? So dope not a big fan of his songs as much as I am the freestyle
This is is more ridiculous than Lavar Ball thinking he could beat Michael Jordan.
Brad Armstrong is like Owen Hart and Bobby Eaton. Great wrestlers, better human beings, never a bad word to say about them.
Let's get Brad into the hall of frame he deserves it as much as anyone else.
what happened to the show??
It's so hard to believe that we have been friends for as long as we have. You are so much like your Dad and Mom you never forgotten the true fans who were there through your entire career. I remember DaddyBob introducing me to Brad for the first time since Georgia. That's where I first met him. I was so young. Then you came shortly into the business later. My dream was to be one as well but menagitis at the age of 13 took that dream from me. So I lived it through my buddies in the business. I did work security and ring crew and was married to a wrestler and referee. Wrestling was something that was in your blood once you had a taste for it you crave it. I will always be thankful for the love that your family has shown me. No matter how much money you have made you and Brain are still two of the nicest guys in the business today. Hat's off to your wife and kids for letting you live your dream. Because they are part of the team as well. Thank you so much.
No wonder Bob didn’t like Jake Roberts 😂😂😂
Hey guys! Love the podcast but not sure why I’m not getting new episodes. Last one I got was the royal rumble review. Hope all is well and looking for new episodes soon
Brad was loved by the fans. He was over more than people give him credit for. When you look back and watch Brad he is one hell of a good worker. Shame we are losing our hero’s. The Armstrong family 👍
Great job guys! Southeastern/Pensacola fan from 1980ish!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Just found this through Briscoe and Bradshaw!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I grew up watching Southeastern/Continental in the 70’s-80’s. Doug Furnas? The BEST!
Awesome show.
Trust me brother, you were very talented in the ring !
The Dalton s
She knows who the best wrestler is.
Loved it! Weres the fan group page?
Facebook!!!
Great show. Thanks Scott
Brad Armstrong was a great athlete and great technical wrestler .
Hello brother, Jessie Dalton here, good to see u r doing well last time I seen u was on the gridiron. God bless
Thank you thank you thank you!!! Granny Buchanan said your still just as handsome Scott! She loves all her boys
RIP Jay Briscoe. A legend
Thanks again for answering my question
Go watch Hulk Hogan in New Japan... if you can work Strong Style, you can Wrestle. Everyone knows Vince would only let let certain peole do that though..
Is there a website where we can see where Scott is appearing for signings, etc.?
Not really, we usually announce them on the show!
Hi Scott..I have a lot of good memories of. Dothan Alabama every Saturday
I'm with Arn Anderson when it comes to Brad Armstrong. He was one of the 5 greatest workers of all time in any territory. He was great.
Scottie, remember the lady who baked y'all pecan pies every weekend in Dothan??? Some called her Momma but I believe you called her Granny, Annie Buchanan. She will be 91 the 16th and doing fantastic. She wanted me to tell you she loves you and hello!
Hey Scottie. Enjoy your podcast. Hope you are doing good. I miss Brad and Pep. Two very great friends. I went to the gym with Brad practically every day he was in town for 11 years. Nobody to me cpmpares to Brad and Pep.
Bullet Bob! The Southern bred, Southern fed, Thoroughbred, Ms. Fanniemae Tutwieler's man because he was "All this, and brains too". Southeast Championship was the best product out there and Bob Armstrong was a major mainstay for the promotion.
I love this podcast
Love you Scott Armstrong!!
Love the Armstrongs....well except brian
Proof conry is a damn genius 👏
I totally agree with Scott these young wrestlers should ask the veterans to learn. I’m not In Wrestling but I’d love to sit and talk with the veterans of wrestling. I grew up in SC and every Monday night went to the Greenville Memorial Auditorium to watch wrestling.
There was a wrestler who came to Dothan / Farm Center often with you guys who went by a similar name. Do you remember him? What was his name?
What a talent
In 1974 I went to my first live wrestling event. It was the very first WWWF show at the Philadelphia Spectrum. Since Championship Wrestling From Florida was syndicated up here, Vince Sr. brought in Bobby Duncum, Don Muraco, Ron Fuller, and your dad (He worked with Johnny Valiant) for one night only. I found out in later years that may have been the only time he worked up north. I'm honored to have been one of the few to have seen him live in this region.
JYD for life!!!!!!
The knowledge that Scott has is astounding.
It’s great remembering the families of wrestling. Rocking’ Robin is Jake “The Snake” Roberts sister too.
Best standing dropkick of all time. Incredible elevation.
Jim Brunzell too
