I’m late to the party but I’m glad I’ve found your channel. My bigmama was a seamstress until around 2008 and she recently gave me her sewing machine and serger…chiiiild why am I nervous and scared to use them?!?😂 pray for me! Thanks for the tip about using cotton fabric to start practicing the straight stitch.

Awesome work. My mom was a Taylor. She made clothes for me and my sister. She worked in a well-known store in SC. She passed 4 years ago. She was 101. She taught me so many things. Seeing how much you have brought me back to when i sat by her as she was doing her thing.
