Final House Tour! | Harrison Hills Hideaway
Will the A/C ducts be run within the truss or will the ducts be visible when done? Just curious.
They were originally designed to be exposed, but the new roof layout tying into the original trusses presented a massive challenge so we are running the ducts within the walls/basement.
Good stuff, gonna be building in a couple years and I definitely need to learn as much as possible about this.
Try Atlas 46 (Made in USA) or Diamondback.
"chocolate blood stains" haha.
Forget the old sign, take care of thatPBR one 😂. Enjoying the build so far!
Great video guys. Thanks for sharing.
Mine is set up almost identically. The only difference is that I keep my chisel and level on the left side because I most often use them with my left hand, and my 6 in 1 is on the right side. I also have a little mini plainer on my right side, and a punch on the left for countersinking nails in my old ass house. I also have one of those screw gun holsters. Mind you, I used to do this as side work for a couple contractors, but now I'm just an at-home DIY guy. So it doesn't get used as often, And that screw gun is the most used item, so I like to keep it close and have it easy to grab.
Good
Nice try on the roof, you did your best lol. Gonna have a walk through after its done?
I like the toughbuilt belt a lot and use it with other pouches. I was using straight Kuny's with the Toughbuilt belt but now I've got Occidental Pouches on it. My current belt has parts from at least 5 brands.
"Less shrinkage the better" 😂
Aint doing no real work with that toughbuilt. Not worth the money
Awww man you spilled their salsa!?! 😂😂 Siding looks great
I know, so embarrassing and hilarious at the same time to spill someone else’s salsa! 😂 I think I can still feel the burn, that was some good stuff!
I’m going to tell you boys stay where you are,you guys are all happy and full of life. Carpenters here in California are miserable and beat down I wouldn’t say mean but grumpy , it’s all the house flipping jobs that eat ur soul away here. Working on old existing homes tying in everything new into old termited rotten wood unleveled out of plum walls wears u down over time. Fresh new builds are a rarity and a gift for god so you don’t kill your self , everything goes so smoothly with a new build no stress almost relaxing id say. Anyway I had a cheap lows tool belt when I first started out 15 year’s ago it only lasted 2yrs just barely then I got a second hand gator back belt it was nice but used then I finally got a occidental bags and that was it no going back after that. I still have the original belt but I have replaced the bags once each after the years holes are going to happen and just keep getting bigger till tools started to fall out.
I'm constantly incubating batteries 😂😂😂
I didn’t see the review of the orange and black bags. Did you guys just kick him to the curb?
I am a professional TH-cam video SEO Specialist. I am very impressed with your TH-cam channel content and your video thumbnails are very good💖💝💥💘
nice
Absolutely gorgeous has to feel great to see it being lived in and saying you built it. 😎
Built in dog bed hideout? That's awesome!
Only thing that I can see was a Mount of garbage
Boys got a $300 hammer hanging on a $30 belt, and saying its cause im poor
$30 belt? I live in Canada and that belt is $150
Definitely looking forward to this build
Great video guys! I didn't learn anything but you cats look fun to work with.
In memorium 😂
That’s the best part!
Nice, How far along is it?
Looking forward to this build and the layout for an 800sqft!
Nice! That’s our neighbor’s “kid’s” new place. 😊
So close everyone can taste it! 🎉
Had no idea they made down cutting blades, that's awesome
Really cool on the underside of the porch. I remember seeing something like this on the Perkins Brothers air BNB house build.
He talks about being efficient but carries his chisel and cat paw on the same side as his hammer and his six in one who most people use with their dominant hand on his off side 😂
That platform you built for working on the porch overhang looks pretty friggin shweet. Way to cut down on the squirrel points 😅
So much detail, totally worth it, looks fantastic
Looking great, like the green lower cabinets. Can't wait to see more!
Really like the finishing cedar under the roof. Does it add more rigidity to the roof this way vs putting it up between rafters?
Yes it adds more racking strength plus I’ve found it easier to do this way vs cutting a whole bunch of 2 foot pieces to fit in between rafters. As an added bonus you can see the full depth of the rough sawn rafters and all the shiplap lines are even from one side of the roof deck to the other because they’re longer pieces!
That's some insane sealing going on, should be nice and efficient for the home owner.
If yall built in Texas, id hire yall. Honest even when no ones looking. I respect that. Keep it up guys!
Really enjoying the spider and beetle cameos
Keep it up!
Yep, for sure its all about the tool belt. lol Every body fall in over here for a tool belt check. And dont be caught cheating by not having every tool you own in your belt at all times.
I like this content. Keep it up! Also could yall do a gear video over gear, (tools, clothing, etc.), that yall recommend?
Thank you! We have video out about what we put in our tool belts! You can check it out here: th-cam.com/video/F-62nVCqBSo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Ta_Vswr8ZiDncUrG
That toolbelt video is one of the best I've seen, definitely check it out
For swinging hammers... look into magnetic retention, or a holster.
😍
It looks amazing!
I can’t love this enough ❤ Thanks for making our dream come true! It still hasn’t sunk in.
❤️
Kaaaayth uuuuueewbin
They are spelled the same. Say Tomato
What the coat compared to a conventional poured basement?
Beam looks awesome, crazy how they are making them these days to look rustic. Looking forward to the flooring video, that elm is going toook nice.
