it's a green drive, nothing of value was lost. JK I still have a 3TB that's 10yrs old. around 2010-13 there were a TON that failed - might have only been 2TB models, but the college i interned with had issues.

I got the exact same battery and i opened it a bit more delicately because im a charge it up and put it back in comptuer . see how it goes

I can tell you that this hard drive has a lot of weirdo stuffs like cp , gore etc

everything is plastic. Really disgusting from HP. U can always make scrashes over all. Bad quality! Why they can not use normal screws without those plastic clips. Never buy HP

Thankyou, I have this laptop however speccy says it has 4 sodimm slots but can only find one, however the ram is only 4gb but system says it has 8gb of ram, does this motherboard have integrated ram?

I think everyone here is overreacting a little, it's clearly a very old cpu that no one would really care about anymore. The razor towards himself though I will agree is a little dumb.

You'd probably get more attention if you replaced 'radiator' with 'IHS' in the Title. I delidded my 4790k with a razor and a whole lot of patience- a couple hours of patiently working it off, you did this FAST! nice work. I was so nervous but when I did it I made sure I had funds to buy a new CPU/MB/Memory as an upgrade if it didn't work. I also spent a whole day watching vids while lapping the IHS with 800 grit sandpaper. Dropped my temps by 15c AFTER the overclock with a voltage boost and got to 4.8ghz- even more than I expected (did have it at 5.1, but the voltages and temps were too high- got through 1 firestrike bench before crashing though). Luckily it worked out but man it was sketchy without a clamp. Still running the same CPU 5 Years later, never did upgrade since I was happy with the boost in performance. It is about time for a new rig though- it's showing its age these Days- still does most everything I want even now, in 2024- a decade old CPU, still getting it done!
