How did you put that aphex plugin? When you put the exciter did u send the vocal or put it direct? And if send did you eq before or no, as u said u did it to saturate the highs? Just wondering. I know how the effect works for the most part, i have it and use it and ik how it sounds leaned towards the mids and highs so maybe u dont need to eq prior to but just wanted to hear from u because im still kindve learning saturation even though ive been mixing vocals for over a decade lol

On the 76 typically how much gain reduction do you aim for? How much make up gain after the compression? Also what db do you normally have vocals sit at BEFORE you mix them?
