Hey Ben. Great Videos! Been out about 15 times and your videos have been very helpful. I have a quick question on pumping in lighter winds. I noticed that it is a circular motion but in some of the videos I have seen they pump clockwise going to the left and counter clockwise when going to the right? Some other videos seem opposite of this? What are your thoughts? thanks

Wenn ich mich bei wenig Wind auf Raumwindkurs aufs Foil pumpe, habe ich danach null Druck im Wind und falle zurück auf die Oberfläche. Muss ich nachdem das Foil rauskommt anluven? Danke Dir

Hey Ben some good Tipps but one is completely wrong 😅 you don't have to dobble grap front, if you gonna power your wing. But the wing on the le side with your arm on the depower grip, grab the first handle with free hand and with the hand from the depower handle to the back handle of your wing. You safe much more time and struggle in the water 😉 and there are also two more options to turn the wing easily and have it right in the depower handle 🤘😎 maybe it's better for the guys to visit our school on fehmarn 😁👍

Will start with it this season. My home spot in Croatia has plenty of wind but just not enough space for launching the kite. Don't want to be dependent on others and a boat to launch offshore...

This is killer advice! Exactly, don't try and get on foil too soon, speed equals stability etc.. The coordination with pumping both the sail and the board is on point! 🤙👍

thanks for nice footage. I personally had the best help from 1: trying to make sail switch many times when I was on the board but not foiling. 2: Getting used to sail with and without foiling with the opposite foot in the front (that's how we have to sail a couple of seconds after switching the sail) 3: Experiencing foot change without foiling many many times. What I found is hanging on the sail more and decreasing your weight on the feet and on the board eases this movement.

I respect wingsurfing/foiling. I don't understand why windsurfers are still windsurfing. I bought windsurfing gear to resell and what a pain in the ass that set up is.

Gibt es solche Videos auf Deutsch .Mein Englisch ist nicht das beste. Möchte mehr über Wingfoiling erfahren. Ist die anschaffung sehr teuer .Bin auch etwas schwerer und anfänger ca.98 kg was muss ich beachten beim kauf. Mfg Stefan

Good tips. I was kookin it up on my sup yesterday with a 6m Switch wing. It’s definitely different than kiting. Challenging but fun! I figured I would dial in my wing skills first on the sup before moving to a foil. Regarding board control, to go upwind I would move the wing toward the back of the board and toward the front to angle downwind.

Can't wait to get back on the water today. Forward foot pressure is the key. A short radius turn is exactly the opposite of what I thought I should be doing but makes sense. I'll let you know.

I'd be super interested in some specifics on the foot switch, foot position, initiation, front to back or back to front, weight position etc...? I have the jibe rhythm but oh my word, it all goes to rat shit at foot switch time. Thanks for your videos !!!

Hello from Ketchikan, Alaska and thanks for the video. Struggling with getting on foil in low wind and the foot switch on the jibe. I was trying to get it switched prior to the jibe, I will see if i can do more like you are. I am not that flexible though to hold the wing on the opposite side. Keep putting out the content and i will be watching :)

Eine Anmerkung als Windsurfer und strapless Kitesurfer (jeweils auch mit Foil): die Wende ist schwieriger als der Jibe.......
