Cheers Ben I don’t go over 8lb on my reels it’s the limit on my feeder rods been using maxima and detection lately . I did win a spool of maver carp mono couple of months ago but not used yet it’s on a spare reel I use as back up.

Liquidised bread better in a cage feeder Ben it releases particles on way down to bottom.

what i do is drain the sweetcorn and cover the sweetcorn with curry power and leave if in the fridge over night and with sweetcorn juice i use mix it with bread crums to make bread paste and chop up a tin of lunchon meat and put in bag and add a few teaspoons hot chill sauce ..give a shake and leave in the fridge.. and mix them all together to form you ground bait mix and chop up peperami sticks and dip it in chili oil and use it hook bait..and par boil potatos and cut them in small cubs ..just the size to put on a size 18 and soak them in cold coffee over night

Loving the video and the fact that it’s nice to see fish care I always carry the spray and check the fish for hooks 👍

I've been using the 2mm on the method feeder mixed 50/50 with ringers 2mm. They then break down well.

They work where fish eat them put it that way , try using them a single bait no bait over the top . Not the best

i found a bag of 15mm drilled robin red pellets and thought id give em a blast and smashed 7 out in an afternoon, i used to use them loads when i used to method fish and got distracted by all the fancy hookbaits bit might go back if i keep getting bites hahaha

I've always had to re drill if I had to use quick stops

I've been using robin red for years and it's great used all size pellets and boilies too really good on the method

I’ve had a mirror do that to me once!, feisty buggers

I won’t bother using those pellets on the method though, not great are they 😕

Some lovely looking mirror carp in that lake , you have your rod pod the correct way around, and big carp like big baits, I’ve also used and still have one of those esp method feeders , you’ve got a good set up there , look forward to more fishing videos, just don’t change your style 😎 , Bens fishing adventures

I can’t fish these days, so I really enjoyed this! We used to let the corn sit out and sour to use for bait, but your fresh kernels did fine!

Evening Ben , us northerners also fish bomb n corn or bomb n pellet just wondered if you had tried it . We have a place nr Doncaster called candy corner it’s the best method there the carp there must be on steroids the fight is unbelievable.
