It has been great so far. Reliable combination of parts.

Not that I noticed any loss of performance at low revs. Liked the low grunty sound. I'd wish the dB killer could be removed. This model has it welded shut

I just got the bike for about 3-4 month now. Only thing I've changed is the PUIG touring windscreen and the exhaust. I haven't remap the ecu after installing the termis, don't think it's necessary. Of course if you intend to get the best performance out of it, you do a remap. For me I'm happy with the current performance and sound. 😄

Ok je motor ni, power nye cukup kalau pikul pillion. Mungkin untuk beginner mencabar sikit, motor ni bahagian depan berat. Tapi sedap bawak highway

Saya tak pernah bawak mt650, tapi rasa nye tu lagi tinggi sikit. Gt dia rendah, pendek sikit. Selesa atau tidak untuk pillion, so far isteri saya comfortable jalan jauh.

Average I guess. Bike or brand is not mainstream yet in Singapore, mechanically the bike is sound, just the parts heavily controlled by local agent. Unlike other jap bikes, you got multiple sources for parts. It's either agent or you buy online yourself. Another thing, the OEM parts (not the branded parts like JJuan brakes or Bosch ecu etc) like cone bearing, wheel bearing tend to rust very easily. The water proof seal is not good. Sensors, electronics can be effy. Give you example, my gear sensor I had it replaced 4 times within 1 year 😅. Though it is covered under warranty.

Truthfully, the bike has been great. Served me well, I rode around Malaysia for quite a bit with the bike from Singapore within 1 year. 3 things why i moved on: 1) Stock/OEM parts, cone bearing, wheel bearing etc, they rust and wears quite fast. This maybe subjective, but I have to compare this to the bike manufacturer that I rode before this (Honda & Yamaha). The parts availability in Singapore heavily controlled by sole distributor, I have to either go to the agent direct to service or go to my preferred dealership (but get them to get the parts from the main distributor). Or i buy the parts myself online. Just too cumbursome, unlike other mainstream manufacturers with parts readily available from multiple sources. 2) Resale value - while warranty coverage is good, up to 5 years, I wont get much resale value in 5 years. The depreciation is very steep year on year. 3) Tmax makes more economical sense for me at the moment - city riding & two up touring. Comfort & utility.

@@kn8685 Thanks for the informative reply 👍🏻 Parts durability and availability are my two primary concerns.. resale value not so much because not thinking of changing to anything else after this next (probably final) bike purchase. I just ride for fun in the evenings, and the very occasional jaunts to KL, PD or similar distances so not thinking of selling it or maybe even ride a bike in the next 10 years. Spare parts kalau di Malaysia saya tak brape pasti, kalau di Singapura saya rasa ok lagi. Cuma tempat service nye kecik, tunggu lama 😅. Kalau dekat KL, Puchong ke..mane2 Msia saya rasa lagi baik, efficient. Tu yg saya dgr dari rider Msia dan Spore jugak yang pegi sane servis.

Saya tengok review overseas pun, rata2 kata motor ni tahan, takde masalah selepas jalan 5000km pun, jadi hati ada rasa lega owner sama region pun pakai.. ada juga la cakap ada problem materials, tapi ikutkan brand Jepun pun ada.. yang penting lebih banyak kata takde masalah dari kata ada masalah.. untuk harga dia boleh telan la masalah tu.. cadang nak beli motor lagi mahal, tapi mengenangkan nak beli anak kereta lagi 2-3 bulan ni, takpe la, berkorban la kehendak kita hehe 🥲

@@izhamsham843 Betul quality parts nye tu kene hati2 sikit, lekas karat. Mcm cone bearing, wheel bearing sebagainya. Tapi betul jugak la, brg jepun akan rosak jugak. Saya rasa ni semua nasib. Tapi kuality motor, memang mantap. Tahan lasak. 👍

Depends on how you like your ride to be. For me I prefer to be sitted low and planted that's why I chose the GT. MT is a great bike too 👍

Tukar ingition coil. Saya ada face problem macam tu jugak, saya return balik agent mintak tukar. Sebelum tukar kelmarin, bukan cold start aje, kadang2 time on the move low rpm 3-4k nak throttle pun bole bobok. Kena half clutch baru ok.

Not very good unfortunately. I think about 2hrs, maximum 2.5hrs of use you'll need to charge or replace battery.

Saya rasa motor ni ok, kalau untuk buat lasak pakai tiap hari tu tak brape pasti lagi. Saya pun baru pakai motor ni belum setahun. Kalau buat weekend ride, long distance saya rasa memang sesuai. Motor minyak tak kasar sgt, stable bawak laju.

@@kn8685 terima kasih bagi pendapat tuan. Saya tengah decide sama ada cfmotor 650gt ni ataupun ktm adv 390 sebab harga sama. KTM punya spec pun okay cuma takut bosan kalau pakai lama nanti tak cukup speed. Lagipun single cylinder highspeed ada vibration.

@@Mantocu Saya rasa kalau riding comfort, motor CF ni lagi bagus. Seat height, posture nye semua riding jauh tak rasa penat.

So far it has been good. I've ridden up north quite a number of times since I got this bike, it has been pretty stable at speed. There were several issues initially, but sorted out under warranty.

@@kn8685 nice, so it’s as good for touring as it’s supposed to be then. What sort of issues did you have with it?

@Justin Yeo I had fuel sensor issue, didn't display the actual fuel level. Got that replaced, its been fine since that. Now I'm having gear sensor issue too, doesn't affect the bike's function in general though. Just the inaccurate display, waiting for the part to arrive. Will be replaced under warranty too. Touring is great, with the side panniers no wobble or anything like that.
