No doubt. I got into firearms in 2018 and I have been stocking ammo monthly ever since. I was one of the people standing in the long lines 3 times a week in front of Cabela's at 6am during covid. Not proud of it. However I was able to secure a lifetime of ammo at pre-covid prices. I am thankful to the Lord for that.

I have the same carbine , it'sa great gun, put a midwest industries rail , red dot , fixed stock double mag pouch , and streamlight.. I just wish it didn't weigh as much as my kitted out ar15s..

When I bought some CMP 1903/1903A3 that had come back from Greece, the stocks were in need of deep cleaning. I coated the wood with EZOFF oven cleaner and sat them in the hot sun for hours… then washed and scrubbed. Turned out beautiful.

Thanks for posting! I know there are some people saying that this tool is a little difficult to shoot accurately outside of maybe 10 yards or so. Ease of carry is probably the biggest thing to consider if one is not in the military or LE. The trade offs with this design seem to be well worth it. It’s nice to see an accurate depiction of what it’s like to own it.

In my experience a piston typically causes the handguard to heat up much quicker than a D.I. rifle, similar to the way the handguard on an AK rifle will heat up very quickly, due to the piston that's under the handguard. That being said, a piston system will cause the rifle to run significantly cooler elsewhere, the chamber area and within the upper and lower receivers.

I just today bought or ... she bought and I paid for lol A new Beretta Tomcat I think it is the x? anyway button instead of lever for the barrel tilt and the mag release is up high like a 1911. I have a little 950B in 25 auto and she was doing her best to snatch it sooo... just get her one right? hers is double action while mine is single action and a tad smaller and her version of the Tomcat has a way different looking trigger. odd looking even but... The reason I chose this particular gun was that it is .32 but still extremely small and it has an exposed hammer which she is used to but most importantly...She really never needs to work the slide for loading or unloading... The tilt barrel cuts way down on hand strength needed as well as it is super safe. To load the last thing she has to do is simply put a round in the barrel and snap it shut... To unload safely all she has to do is tip up the barrel and pull the round out.... now no matter where the hammer or trigger might be and with a full mag..the gun simply cant go off..snap the barrel back down but since there is no round in the chamber/barrel she could dry fire it even safely. She is a very good shot and safe but I taught her on revolvers. I think most ND's with semi autos come from manipulating the hammer to load unload For a 1911 it is dropping the hammer on a live chamber (it can be done very safely but oddly most don't know how that works) In any case she never has to chamber or unload the chamber using the slide.
