Oh, Man, everything looked so beautiful and so yummy 😋. I will take one of those empanadas and fresh squeezed lemonade.
I'm a neighbor to the north in SC and I love GA folks when I visit. These videos are wonderful. Hope you do more. Thank you for sharing! 👍
Hey neighbor!! Thank you for your kind words!!
Lots of busy bees.
👍
Loved watching all the beautiful products these talented vendors provide.
Wonderful video. I enjoyed seeing the many vendors. The watermelon 🍉 and fresh flowers 💐 were my favorite.
Glad you enjoyed it
Love the buzzing on Haas Buzz Homestead!! 😊
Hopefully they are queen right.
Happy 😊 to see the market is back. Enjoyed seeing all the new products.
More to come!
😁Looks like it was a fun and productive day.👍
Yes! It was! Thanks for your support, as always!
Same here with the privet!! Glad you guys are getting a great bloom too!! You are too kind with the shout out..Wow, humbled. I think you did the right thing with that queen. Allow the new one to get moving sooner rather than later. Definitely behind and what Dr. Amari said the other night, getting that new genetic platform in helps them shake what they got going on.
Yeah - new genetic platform! I’m glad you went over the Queen timeline in your video. Then if I catch a swarm - newspaper thing to combine - decisions, decisions, decisions. In turn - many options. Thanks Mike!!
Pretty bloom, I see a kitty.😁
It looks like she has been slowing down for some reason. It's hard to say what may have happened. At this point in the season it would have been nice if you had an already good laying queen for them, but we do what we have to do. Hopfully you caught it in time to get the brood built back up. Thanks for the kind words.
Yeah - hopefully. This wasn’t the queen they had last year either. They had a small black queen. This queen is big but seems real old and having issues. She looks like she’s been around for a while. I had a bunch of cast off swarms move in and they were fighting one another last year. They fought the bees in the established hives as well. Who knows - this queen might have been from one of those cast offs that moved in. Each group was real small and flew in right in back of one another when I was outside. There is always a lesson and a surprise around the corner. Thanks Joey!
🐝🐝🐝🐝 ❤❤ nice sharing ❤from pakistan
Может пошире приоткрыть .Им же явно тесно.
They are getting at it.
Yep things are waking up.
Finally blooming here as well. It's time to get busy for you guys!!
I feel like I’m already behind ..
This video really made me look forward to Spring. I loved all the sights and sounds. Made my Monday 😊.
So glad they made it through the arctic blast 😊
Looks like soring flight!! Wow.
I think it’s gonna be one heck of a season!
Wow!!! The bees are really active.
All kind of pollen coming in.
Yeah, they are getting it from somewhere.
Your videos are amazing! If you like farming or harvesting videos, I look forward to having you visit my channel to have relaxing moments together!
Just a side note the very first thing you do when building your hive stand is always make it so the water doesn’t run inside or make some shims to go underneath the back of the hive .
You don't have that entrance reducer on right, it should be pushed in flush with the side of the hive body.
Grateful to not have a SHB problem in my area
Varroa load?
Water and mold. The bottom board was a lake. We had some hard core rain and wind. Very few dead bees. So who knows. I’ve got them shimmed now.
Most likely, either Varroa failed queen. if it was moisture, you would had clumps of wet dead bees on the bottom board. Obviously because there wasn’t many bees of winter physiology in your hive. As they aged out the bees fly out of the hive and die to get any viruses and other pathogens out of the hive. Best of luck getting the rest of the girls through the winter.
Great video. Yet I see something you might want to think about. Bees have shown us over, and over, and over again that they do not care for anything more than a 2 to 3 inch entrance that’s 3/8 of an inch high. Your bees are demonstrating this on almost every one of your hives by working, extremely hard, waxing and propolizing everything else. so the question is, why are we just giving them what they want all year long from the get-go?
Very Educational!! Enjoyed hearing the bees and the birds.
We get actual shims and wedge them under the back of the hive. Before fall i just take a level with me, lay it on the top, and make sure it isn't level.
Some of the swarms I caught this year didnt do so well. I wonder if some of the pollen my bees are bring in right now is really dust from someones deer corn.
That’s interesting..
Oh wow that's a lot of propolis! They're closing the shop doors for sure.
👍👍👍👍
Bees moving slower and huddled together.
You need one of those endoscope cameras too I hear they don't cost much, I want to get me one so I peek in.😶🌫😁
شكرا من الجزاءر
Those big chunky dark winter bees. I love my wax coated Hoover. Don't know if they keep a few spare drones or not, but the mass eviction occurred about 4 weeks ago here in Maryland.
Thanks so much for giving us the opportunity to showcase our business! Also thank you for your amazing editing and transitions I'm sure it took a while to learn but you make it look flawless and easy ❤- Treshia (CazeauCraftyCreators)
A beautiful array of homemade food and crafts. Loved watching the variety of displays. The sound of the rain and the conversations and laughter make it even more enjoyable.
And for whatever reason we think they need us😂😂😁😁😎😎. Bees are something else…..and I won’t argue with you, drones for emergencies.
Always enjoying your videos Mike! I’m doing well because I listened to your technical side of beekeeping!
Thanks for sharing your market trip with us.😁
Thanks DC!!
Gotta love the sweet honey farms honey! Absolutely amazing!!
Very Interesting!! Busy little Buzzers.
That's amazing how these bees are working Jenn
They sure have that entrance closed down, I get the biggest kick out of watching them work.😁They are bringing in a bit of pollen still that is nice for a final bit of food for them.👍Thanks for sharing you time with the bees.
Thanks DC!!
