Yeah, boss fights are rough in this game. Most of them don't afford you time to heal in the heat of battle, only when the boss is in their "exhausted" sort of stance. In that moment you have the choice to get an extra hit or heal without it maybe going wrong. Outside that, there isn't a great time to heal. Pretty sure that's why they put those exhausted moments in.

I don't understand the health bar's interaction with your special moves and enemies hitting you.
I have a Mic that works but only one side of the earbuds work, I didn't have them plugged in for this. Cherry is Adam's daughter. When you use special moves you lose health but the green health is recoverable if you hit an enemy again before they hit you.
@@mikahraulnor5778 Especially since this was my third attempt at stage 9, I think. I've beaten the level on easy but there's a big difference between easy and normal. Each stage in Easy you get 6 lives(technically 7 because you are still alive on life 0) and in Normal you get 2 lives(technically 3). Pretty sure 2 lives was the default in the original games but those were on a set difficulty.

They said some of the inspirations for the game was From Software games so they probably got it after playing Bloodborne.
