It's fuckin hilarious how seriously they speak all these bullshit 🤣 the writing is so poor in this, it's painful to see.

Jon kinda forgot that the dragon glass is only relevant against the white walkers, not against the ordinary undead.

You can see so much difference in writing and in the way they speak and vocabulary that is being used in this scene with initial game of thrones episodes writing and also recent series house of the dragon.

Just the ending of this video says it all. They butchered so many conversations and left out so much dialogue it's wrong!

Sending the cavalry head on in an enemy that will not flee or impacted by it. Artelliery infront of the main defensive line, not on or behind the wall. No Archers with Dragon Glass tip arrows anywhere. God....I could go on and on. Still pissed after all this time for what they did in Season 8!

Ya know, I ain't a sword fighter but I am fencer and even I know that you can't just pick up any old weapon and use it to great effect. There's balance and all kinds of factors that make a weapon suited to a fighter.

Jon: We can't beat them in a straight fight Jon kinda forgets about the previous statement and sends the Dothraki in a straight battle. Then the Dothraki kinda forgot they died and came back as army of the dead and fight for Daenerys in Kings Landing. I wish I could kinda forget this series.

Sam can't hold the sword upright. Valyrian Steel is meant to be lighter than a normal sword so Sam is weak.

Jorah lost his honor and thus his family sword. But here Sam gave him another sword because of Jorah's father and his teaching. And thus Sam restored Jorah's honor.

He turned down Longclaw to honor his father’s memory, and accepted Heartsbane to honor his father’s memory. Funny how two opposing actions can both be honorable deeds.

I am pained by how season 8 went. Despite everything, I could have forgiven the writers, if they had just ended it with Jon on the Iron Throne, its what they had set him up for since like season 5.

I have to say, hearts and was always my favorite Valyrian steel sword. It’s so elegant, but in a very subtle way.

Jorah took it as valyrian swords were exceptionally light in weight and durable. It made Jorah a lot more dangerous wielding that sword

Here Jorah, use my Family sword to defend the queen that killed my Tarly family. I honestly thought they were gonna do more with Sam taking the sword. Like learning more about the properties of Valyrian Steel at the Citadel. But, instead it's this contrived scene of Sam giving it to Jorah so they can close this plotline hastily. No mention of the sword again, and Sam is somehow Grand Maester after its all done. People are pretty easy to please if they think this was good writing.

D&d were so terrfied of including the more supernatural aspect of the universe, imagine if Jon had faced the Night King and his sword bursts into flame after a long duel, fulfilling the Azor Ahai prophecy, would have been better than ninja girl stabbing him with a dagger, that they never explored in the slightest to its real meaning or ya know, whats written on it.

Even the disaster that S8 was had a lot of very good moments. But the big issue is this: a lot of very good ideas and plot ruined by ATROCIOUS narrative and execution

I just realized that the same family sword that belonged to the Tarleys helped to defend (By Jorah's use) the very woman who had Sam's Father and Brother flamed grilled by Drogan. Talk about funny turn abouts eh lol.

Despite the HORRENDOUS ending, I'm glad that we were given these tiny character moments still hit hard

This was a stupid scene. Valyrian steel is not something to give away that easily. Why steal your family's ancestral sword and give it to a guy you barely know. If Valyrian steel was that easy to foresake Tywin lannister would've been able to buy some. He offered houses with valyrian swords fortunes and no one was willing to give them up.
