Yeah, it makes sense but so many times when I did not hold the kicker, I would get the quad's but without the maximum payout. At the end of the day, it's personal choice. Thanks for watching and commenting!

😅 Yeah, some people are giving me crap about it, but on triple-double with that high of a multiplier, I will typically always hold the kicker. The reward is way too high. I've struck gold too many times in the past holding the kicker, so that's my play. 😄

Absolutely! Yeah, a lot of expected value percentages are based on millions of hands. We typically like to go for the bigger play short-term. I love getting to your comments. They're very informative. Hopefully you could make it out to Reno during VP fest, late April/early May. I would definitely like to have a drink and play some VP together.

Hey, Cheryl, I just checked, and it will come out on February 15th. I'm not sure why my wife separated them so far away. 🤷‍♂️😄

Sometimes I do but typically I go outside the higher EV just because I typically don't like certain plays. The expected value is very close anyway. I do practice every night on video poker. com to determine what the preferred play is. I just choose a different hold on certain hands.

I don’t hold the kicker either - even if it is worse EV. I’d rather have twice the chance of hitting something than nothing.

Kind of like getting 4 to the royal and dropping the 10

Always hold the kicker in triple double. Never hold the kicker in double double.

😂 Yeah, if you've watched many of my videos, you'll see I will probably always hold the kicker on a triple-double. I treat it as 4 to the Royal. 😄

@ if you ever want I could logically/ mathematically proof to you that in short term not holding a kicker is more beneficial specially when you have multipliers or other bonuses waiting. By the way I an engineer and have played for last 50 years. Good luck to you
