I found a cateriller on my carrot eaves so I decided to put him in a enclosure with carrot stalks and leaves standing in flower tubes to keep them watered. Nice video though

I don’t want to put you down you don’t a great job. But with Mrs. Wages for seven cards that is more than enough I always have extra chores left over. You are not backing near enough pickles per jar. It should be about a pound and a half you have to force them in big time because they will shrink I see you’re struggling trying to keep them from Floating. That’s because you don’t have them wedged in tight

Been making pickles for years using lime to make them crispy. I don’t know what kind you were using to make your pickles crispp

Amazing! I had one on the parsley in my garden. I kept him in a jar for a few days and then released him back into my yard. I should have kept him and watched his transformation.. my son would have loved it!! I'll try again the next time I see one in my garden.

I actually learned something new. Males sense to run the incubator for a day or so before putting eggs in. Thanks man!

Solid advice. We don’t do any gifts for Christmas,birthdays. I let the kids choose the meals on their days, we go on a hike,picnic, or something else that’s simple. Last Christmas we strung popcorn and cranberries on thread and hung that everything, and we sing a lot and say our litanies and special, Jesus centered things, maybe Bake cookies. Not expensive at all. Always thrift stores, meal plan, big gardens, and finding simple ways to spend time together. In our county you can check out puzzles and some toys and games from the library so that’s really cool.

I literally cried when your little boy helped you water the plants. This was so touching. My own son got a promise from God that he would be like a rooster let out of the coup two days ago. This week he played his first professional hockey game as a pro hockey player. The Lord led me to you video today and I was overwhelmed to see your rooster let out of the coop. The same week my son got his promise. I have never seen your channel before today. What a blessing. Keep up the good work. You are raising a real family. So rare these days. God bless you.

I just placed an order for some of these. They now call them rudd Rangers. Do you feel saving a few for breeding would offset the almost $100 for chicks? I live on 2 acres surrounded by about 40 acres of brush lands. How are they at foraging?

I've seen hardware cloth and chicken wire used for the bottom...Why choose one over the other?

i got a yellow swollowtail butterfly right now just caught him on my walk.

If you do this again, please keep A LOT of leaves because it's more difficult for them to chew tough stems. Very important: whatever plant you find the caterpillar on, only feed him that because it's all he wants. This will be what he hatched on. If it was parsley, only give him parsley. I'd it was Queen Anne's Lace, then feed him only Queen Anne's Lace. Same for dill and fennel. Do not try to feed him something different than what he was found on...

I was planning on buying butterfly pupae to hatch with my boys. I had no idea black swallowtails were so attracted to parsley until one showed up on my tiny potted plant! He’s currently hanging, about to reveal his chrysalis. Very exciting!

What did you put in the jar. Did they need water? What did you put under the lid to prevent them from escaping but still get air

What happened to the chrysalis that had started out brown? We heard you say the green one had hatched. Great video and my kids loved the music from one of their favorites ; )
