76' Shore Boat Builders Expedition Yacht #yacht #fishing #expedition
Shore Boat Works have been building hundreds of commercial grade vessels since the 1960s, including tugboats, research vessels, passenger carrying boats and yachts, but mostly fish boats. Western Shore, ex Canadian Shore, started out as a Salmon Seiner and then was converted to an expedition yacht at ABD shipyard in North Vancouver in 2002 by the previous owner.
She sleeps up to 12 including a master stateroom. The galley is large and well laid out with a large stainless fridge freezer and a restaurant grade stove grill, oven. The adjacent dinette seats up to 8. The fish holds were converted to a sauna, shower , large side by side fridge freezer, and crews quarters and washer dryer. The wheelhouse is large with great visibility with cameras to look aft. There is also a n upper bridgedeck helm. The dayroom is large and bright with lots of cozy seating, a great area to socialize and entertain. The aft deck has a large covered area used for entertaining, BBQs and other outdoor activities, boats are stored on the topside. The stern has a modified lift for launching kyaks and paddle boards, scuba diving and grants access to the water for land fish. The aft Freezer is divided into two sides 8,000 capacity each side. There are 6 trolling gurdies for fishing and a commercial T Lic available, price upon request.
This is a very heavy build commercial grade boat capable of extended voyages with a 4,000 nautical mile range, complete with paravane stabilizers and ballast tanks. Freeze your catch at sea with the commercial grade dual icemakers and huge freezer capacity. The electronic array is complete including 2 Furuno radar units, 2 x VHF radios, SSB, Comnav auto pilot, various sounders jog steering, rudder indicator and more. The hydraulic bow and a stern thrusters allow ease of handling and docking in any situation. The hull is 1/2" , topsides are 3/8" and the deck is 1/4", there are 5 watertight bulkheads. The conveniently located Hiib davit isn't just for loading gear, it can be used for lifting toys and yacht tenders.
The main is a 1993 3412 Cat rebuilt in 2009 , with an Isuzu 6RB1 back up motor with 1001 hrs since rebuild in 2009. There are 3 Isuzu gensets. The current survey puts replacement value at $12,950,000. Valuable current moorage is available in Steveston, drive your truck right up to the boat. This strategic moorage is located at the mouth of the river in brackish water with ample parking, trades and is a tourist destination. Coast Guard CSI certificate good until 2026. This amazing expedition yacht is awaiting new owners for her next life of adventure at sea.

If y’all is wondering where this yacht is located it’s north of Miami in Florida. The number on the screen is not a cell phone so I was not able to text the individual for a complete listing. Perhaps if she wants to sell it she could include the full and complete listing of the motor yacht for a knowledgeable buyer to carefully and Wisely evaluate the vessel, just saying 🤷🏻♂️. Not sure about anyone else, but I’m just going onto the next one without any knowledge of the vessel.
In the first 5 seconds, she said that the boat is located in Sidney, BC. Why do you think that it is in Miami? Do you know where BC is?

Beautiful Boat. Greatest 26' fishing boat of all time. I had pretty much identical with a Cummins. Off Jersey on rough seas it was like standing on a solid pier. Incredible. And used no fuel. Once I learned how to backup a single screw in the slip it was the best boat I've ever owned. Good luck with her

Hinkley makes nice boats but just for a small cult following. They are just down the road from me. I did some work for the Hinkleys back around 2000 and found they are a shifty bunch. I wouldn't give them the time of day.
No different than comparing a Corvette to a Porsche, or a 2300 sq ft home in a gated community or average neighborhood…it’s mostly about status. And, I was a car salesman for quite some time, so I’ve personally seen the status standards here.
