Thanks Tupie, that means a lot coming from another die hard passionate Tekken fan like yourself. Tupie I started feeling emotional watching your reaction too. Hearing that excitement and passion for Heihachi. I feel that if you've been playing Tekken for as long as we have, we know how pivotal, iconic and unstoppable the character of Heihachi is. I feel like no other character epitomises Tekken than him. So glad that he hasn't missed out on a canon Tekken game!

Oh Yaron, I love this franchise to death. It's been with me all of my life and everyone outside of the FGC who knows me knows how much it means to me. This is why when I feel like it's going down a path I don't like, I can seem very critical but it all comes from a place of love. I am so passionate about Tekken which is why it was really hurting when I wasn't enjoying it all that much. Something has clicked recently and I am gonna ride this wave for as long as possible. The awesome Heihachi reveal has also reignited a fire inside me for Tekken. I couldn't be happier that he is back and it's great to see so many people feel the same way. Just give us that character trailer NOW!! 😍 And bring back Anna, Wang & Michelle!! 😆

I still can't quite believe that he is only the 3rd DLC character for Tekken 8. I honestly thought he would be one of the last ones during the games lifespan

A character as iconic as Heihachi for maximum impact would make the perfect addition to close out Tekken 8. The way he is the 3rd DLC character is so strange to me. He doesn't even close out a season pass!! I will say this though, it definitely came as a huge surprise. I didn't think we would see the big guy for years!!!

For me this might be the most hype reveal since Jun and Jun is my main!

@@SpiraNick While Nina got her own game back then, Heihachi was busy beating up strangers in Soul Calibur 2(PS2) and then Playstation All-Stars BR lol As a 90s kid that grew up with *all* of Tekken from Tekken 1 through Tekken 8, I am so glad he is coming back!

Yooo I might see you at some of them. I'm going to try and go to more events myself. I literally cannot wait for this game. Looks like this Tekken is going to have at least double the amount of content that 7 had. It feels like a true return to form. Counting down those days. We are approaching the final hurdle and then we get to enjoy the next generation of Tekken!!

This one is really up there with the best. This is an amazing indication of how good this game is gonna be. This isn't being done on the cheap like Tekken 7. They are throwing everything at this one and I am here for it!!!! I think it's on par with the best. This one hits hard, it's not just about the heart pumping adrenaline, this one has real heart.

For me that is the only reason I need to buy the Season Pass

The design is up there for sure. Still not entirely sure if it's my favourite. Man the more I look, it does feel like she's been watered down a bit. The screams just aren't hitting that same level and yeah, the rage art is a huge let down.

It was so wonderful seeing your reaction live on stream. I couldn't miss it because I know how much Alisa means to you. Your reaction certainly didn't disappoint and neither did she. Alisa looks so good in Tekken 8. Even in the Tekken 8 opening she looked like a total boss evading all of Bryan's bullets.

I can't believe I'm saying this but as trailers go, I think Alisa's was more hype than Zafina's. 😭 You Alisa mains look like you are eating for real!! She looks insane. Alisa in heat with chainsaws sounds like game over on my end. 😂

Lmao it's more about my love for Heihachi than a dislike for Kazuya. I actually quite like Kazuya but Heihachi to me has always been the face of Tekken and felt like a more fascinating character, so I really didn't want him to die. Best scenario for me would be neither dying but after the massive deal they made about it being the end of the Mishima saga, that would have been very anti climatic. I appreciate you not down voting 😅

I've always said this about Tekken 7: It's a fantastic fighting game but a terrible video game. There is literally nothing to do outside of ranked and practice. Tekken 8 really seems to be reverting back to the glory days of Tekken. That said, I still think it's a travesty that Team Battle and Survival mode aren't in the game at the very least. Overall though, it is looking amazing!!! Cannot wait!!!!

Like I said, it's freaking nuts that they are able to get such huge names for a promo!! Wolfie as soon as it began, I got goosebumps because X-Men 2 was my Avengers back in the day. That cast was fire!!! Honestly one of my favourite super hero movies of all time. I still don't want to get my hopes up when it comes to the story as I've been disappointed in the past but if the anime series is anything to go by, they are definitely improving in the way of storytelling. They also didn't have anywhere near as much money to spend on story for Tekken 7 so it should at least be a huge improvement over that. I just wish the story could involve everyone in some way or another, whether they are in the game or not. It's sad to think a lot of legendary characters missing out when the stakes are so high and the quality is this good. Heihachi will always be Tekken for me and they 'killed' him off so Kazuya and Jin wouldn't be as a big a blow for me but if I had to choose, I would much prefer for evil git Kazuya to die over Jin but yeah as you said, best scenario would be Jun being the hero of the story and saving both of them.

The only way I imagined Kuma & Panda having separate trailers was if they were vastly different. From what I hear they still share a lot of moves. I'm guessing Panda's trailer will be the next one released. After that we only have Zafina, Lee, Alisa & Devil Jin. We are so close!!

I'm still trying to not get my hopes up but it certainly looks promising. I forgot to say, I did think the Tekken Netflix anime was a big step up in terms of narrative. Hopefully this story mode is on par or even stronger than that.

@@SpiraNick Yeah I liked the Netflix anime too. The plot was a bit rushed but there were a lot of cool moments and Jin Kazams's story was pretty competently handled overall.

Reina is a really interesting one. I thought she might be like a lone wolf kinda just in it for herself but she appears to be working alongside Jin for the most part. It's mad to me that the most villainous character out of the three new ones is the most unlikely. I am now really intrigued by Azucena!

Oh really!? I didn't know that. I knew Dragunov's previous voice actor sadly passed so I knew it was different but didn't know it was Bryan's. Is it Bryan's Tekken 7 or 8 voice actor or are they both the same person?

Thanks so much Wagboy. I cannot wait for Tekken 8!! It's been nearly a decade since we had a new Tekken game. Seeing all the new moves and updates to the characters gets me so hype. Less than 2 months left!!!
