Cipro Poisioning - 10 months in
This is my first video detailing what Cipro has done to me after 2 pills taken 10 months ago.
I probably have nerve damage, maybe permanent, but hopefully it'll heal. I don't know, I just know I really hurt and lost the person I was before.

Did you heal?
Thank you so much for sharing. I am in the same exact boat as you.
It's interesting that you got c-diff, because I was actually given levofloxacin as a precaution against c-diff when I stepped on a rusty nail. Yep, I didn't have anything wrong with me. It was given as a precaution. and I've been experiencing much of what you have been experiencing and more
i had the same and worse from steoid triamcinolone 19 months now
Cipro is evil. I had an adverse reaction 8 years ago when dealing with a tonsil infection and I am still suffering the side effects. The depression and anxiety are the worst, and it's not helped by the constant muscle and tendon injuries that have plagued me ever since. I also notice you have red hair as I do. I wonder if there is any correlation there. The only things that seem to help are anti-inflammatories and cannabis. Stay strong and try to enjoy the brief moments of happiness.
My symptoms started 4 months ago with tingling feeling and numbness to my arms and then while trying to sleep these zapping electric shocks to my brain (neurologist looked me like i was crazy when i said that). Then I started having whole body muscle twitching when laying in bed and couldn't sleep, tightness feeling in my calves and numbness to legs, feeling like I have hangover, pitch changing tinnitus, vertigo/dizziness, nausea, sometimes it feels someone is choking me. Head MRI, X-ray, blood tests all are clean. Doctors and physiotherapist are all saying I am healthy and nothing wrong with me...
How are you doing now ? I have almost the same symptoms
I am going through this now, have you healed or found ways to feel better
Eighty K the twitching got better. But the pain is constantly but not as bad as many people experience , my neurologist believe that I have a small fiber neuropathy plus a little of myotoxicity cuz I was taking cipro plus statins that’s a bad combo, is like a roller coaster, some good days some bad days. I hope I doesn’t get worst
I wonder how you are doing now. First noticeable change for me came after 1.5 years or so. Hang in there. 3 years out after being floxed multiple times. Look into dry fasts (24 hours weekly). It is tough but makes noticeable difference.
Buddy, forgive my profiling, but are you much of a pothead? A buddy of mine got floxed, didn't start recovering until he quit the weed after over a year. But his recovery after he quit was real quick, like I noticed him doing better within a month or so. Sure, it still took another 6 months until he was moving with any real confidence, but yeah, that.
There may be a correlation there for some people, but I started using cannabis BECAUSE of the pain and depression from Cipro. It was the only thing that helped at the time.
@@tecnoblix how did your neuropathy and tendinopathies change after you started? Personally, if living through chemistry, I prefer microdosing shrooms for mood management.
I was floxed in October. Tons of pain, anxiety and sleeplessness. Cannabis has been my only savior 🙏
How are you feeling now?? You sound like me 100% !!!!!!!
I hope you get better. I'm struggling, too.
damn 2 pills did all this. Oh man.... I only took one. haha. What helped me with pain was magnesium. For my depression acupuncture helped a lot. I hope you quit alcohol, cigarettes, and coffee.
Welcome to our unfortunate club. I'm just over 4 years in and still working on fixing myself. I either had or continue to have all the symptoms you describe. Cipro was nearly the final nail in my coffin but it was another antibiotic, taken less than 6 months earlier, that set things off. It was as if two atomic bombs were dropped into my body. Anyway, I don't know if you've tried this already but vitamin D3 along with K2 (these two vitamins should be taken together) has helped with the muscle pain. It's the only thing I've found that helps with the deep tissue inflammation that Cipro causes. Maybe it can help you as well? I've been documenting my journey as well. Feel free to stop by my channel if you want to learn more about the treatments I've pursued in the past 4 years. I'll do a supplement rundown on there soon. All the best to you.

I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing this pain. I am also suffering the repercussions of fluoroquinolone toxicity. I have since expeienced a number of issues with joints and tendons. Much of my pain is in my right hip and knee. I did find an online book called "the fluoroquinolone toxicity solution" that recommends magnesium, vitamin d, vitamin e, and a few other supplements. The book explains that much of the pain in joints and tendons is due to the mitochondria becoming damaged in those areas. Wishing you the best in your recovery.
