Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial State Park
Sunday, June 30, 2013, 19 wildfire Hotshots gave their lives fighting the Yarnell Hill Fire in Arizona. A Memorial State Park was created in their memory. The hike is 7-miles, round trip. Along the way you will see plaques of the individual fire fighters. The trail will lead you to the fatality site where the 19 Hotshots perished in the fire. This is a Tribute to them.

Such a beautiful oasis. Don't go in the summer - too hot. But in the fall it's magnificent. Just be sure to dress appropriately!

That's a church on the Monastery grounds but a bit farther away from what's shown in the video.
When entering on the main road, the smaller church building is on the right. It’s a short distance from the main entrance to the complex. It’s a beautiful structure.
