This year we had Jolly Logic Altimeter Three which not only told us the height of the rocket but also the maximum speed, average and peak acceleration and all sorts of other data.

Hi, is there a way to assign specific objects in reality composer to pop up in a specific position in reality? In a specific size and everything>
KaiBot is so much for engaging and better, offers more scaffolding
On the desktop version do you know I to start a new behaviour for a primitive shape ? I want to make a rotation animation on a primitive cube shape. But I have no idea where to click on the new reality composer pro platform

thank you ! this is a little bit late but 1:56 do you know how to change the orbit path? There's only one blue dot that changes the (tilt?) and by default the object orbits on a diagonal-ish path, like /, but I can't figure out a way to make the orbit path just be parallel to the surface, like __. if that makes sense?

What would happen if you changed the collision shape to automatic instead of box which is the default?
Thanks for the question Theo. I changed the donut shape into automatic and it didn't make a difference. When I changed it to sphere or capsule, the ball hit the opening and then went a different way. It was still a bit weird.

Unfortunately there isn't an option for that. The closest thing to being able to link out to something is using a QR code like I show in this video: th-cam.com/video/1fwoM4VkPVQ/w-d-xo.html
Hi everyone, I have problem when I export mesh with animation in Maya in usdz file. When I import animation work but UV is missing, but when I import without animation data UV is correct. I'm applyed usdPreviewSurface on my mesh. Does anyone have solution, what can be?

@@davecaleb For some strange reason Maya doesn't preview UV shels when I have animation, but everything works fine when put in model viewer for AR. Yes, and I also shange sheder from ai Standard Surface to Maya Standard Surface

Why don't I have the option to export USDZ?No show "Export USDZ"
Is this true for all of your projects that you make or just some? I have seen some problems when files get too large. What is your iOS version and Reality composer version?
@@davecaleb Both IOS and Reality Composer are up to date USDZ is 197mb
@@京-k8s Try going to your iPad settings > scroll down to Reality Composer > make sure that "Enable USDZ Export is turned on.

how does it work if there are few animations in one USDZ file for one character/object (for example: walk and kick) How to see them and choose which one to play?
I have never used a USDZ file with multiple different animations that are separate. As far as I know, Reality Composer doesn't have an option for choosing between multiple animations on one file.

Hi, thank you for your tutorial. I am trying to get my grade 5/6 to set up a AR gallery. I followed your tutorial step by step, however when I get to importing my voice memo it doesn't work. Any idea on what might be happening? I can select it to import, but then doesn't show up in Reality Composer.
If you go to the files app, does the audio play in there? So when you select it from Files it just doesn’t show up in Reality Composer? Or it shows up but doesn’t play? Can you make sure that the Reality Composer and Voice memo apps are up to date? Also make sure the iOS for your iPad is up to date and then do a restart of the iPad.
Do you know how to change the animation
The animation is built into the USDZ file so you can't make it do something else. All you can do in Reality Composer is activate the animation so it is on or off.

@@hgmd3284 You can think of the animation like a little movie that plays. You can't go into a movie and change it. You would have to create your own movie.

Hi Jari - An anchor only works to start a single scene. You could have one image anchor in one scene and then create a second scene with a different image anchor. Does that make sense?

Hi How do i insert photo on iphone?
An iPad runs iPadOS which allows for multitasking in one window while an iPhone runs iOS which doesn't allow for multitasking. I don't know of a way to add a photo using an iPhone - sorry!
is there a way to change the colors of the 3d model in augmented reality?
You can only change the colour of the shapes (like cubes, cylinders, spheres etc) in Reality Composer and not the 3D models that you import.

Hi Alberto. There isn’t a tool inside Reality Composer that allows you to do that. However, I have created a workaround using a QR code. There are a few steps but it works. I’ll post a step by step video showing the process.
