Another nice video, you guys just seem to have fun and always seem to find them, great that you are able to get out there as often as you do, keep it up, that’s what keeps you young!

FYI. I started off with a worm but changed to a top water whopper plopper. I just wanted that smashing bite, but it didn't work. I was throwing it when I took the thumbnail photo btw. I'll keep trying it though. It will be fun when I do catch one with it! Billy started with a wacky worm. It did work as you can see with the first fish Billy caught. Billy and I both tried other lures. He threw a crank bait and creature bait (green pumpkin) that didn't work. Funny that last week, a small square bill yellow crank bait (black top) was on fire in the Glaze. What a difference a week makes. I also tired a Texas rigged worm that didn't get any bites. I'm going to try that again next week. Change up worm sizes and colors next try. Overall, a 1/8 ounce (or so) wacky worm (I like the Gamakatsu Wacky Jigheads in Green Pumpkin) with a purple/brown worm worked best. Tied on Watermelon and Black/Blue Flake but those colors didn't work. Water clarity drives the colors and the banks, for the most part, were very clear. With the exception of one fish caught under a dock (#FBD), most all the bass were tight on the bank/bluff face. I'll just warn you that you will lose a ton of hooks and worms with this technique. Billy and I will go through two or three bags of worms per trip, and at least a half dozen hooks, and are not cheap. Blue gill love to take your bait and hide, like behind a rock, log, or brush and will hang you up. Or you just get stuck in the rocks or on a limb. That puts you between a rock and a hard spot but you have better luck letting the worm float to the bottom and just sit there (if it is not hit on the drop). Most anglers do not have the patience to just sit there. But patience pays off when you see your line takes off. Just plan on getting hung up often. And weedless hooks won't help much. I keep pretty good stats of out trips. Our last 5 trips just happen to be in the Grand Glaze. From 23 Aug to 11 Sep our average fishing time was 8 hours. We caught an average of 38.6 fish, 6.6 of which were keepers, and had any average bag weight of 12.1 pounds. Average big bass was 2.1 pounds. By the way, we do not use forward facing sonar. I removed my Active Target sonar a few weeks ago because it is not fun to fish with, for us. Billy does like to look at side imaging on the down scanner to see brush piles and that works for him. I want to know water temperature and depth. Especially around structure like docks. I also watch Richard Gene often. The "Go fishing when you can" guy. I really believe it is "GOOD for you." The Major Feeding Window was 8:29 AM to 10:29 AM from our Deep Dive App. Our best period was 2:46 PM to 3:01 PM where we caught 4 fish in 15 minutes. The next best period was 8:51 AM to 9:22 AM where we caught 4 fish in 31 minutes. That was in the predicted window! Wind wasn't a factor but the heat was. Heat index was very high. And waves are big in the area we fished across from PB2. Be safe out there!

Love fishing. Love and grew up in the Ozarks. But disgusted (even if it’s sarcasm) by the use of that orange idiots catch-phrase spin-off. Do better. Especially if you are representing my home area I grew up in.

Forgot to mention I turned 70 on Sunday, lol. Yeah, I'm an old guy. It's just a number right. When we arrived at Larry Gale, the parking lot was empty! Never seen that. When we left, only one truck and trailer in the lot. Also, Billy predicted he'd catch the big fish (his BB of the day) on the concrete wall in Area 2, because he caught one there last time we fished it. I asked him nicely to let me catch it, but you know how that goes. We have fun competing! I did have to cover the cameras from the rain for a bit (they are not waterproof). It poured, but we were able to find a dock with cover that wasn't being used. We were off line for about 15 minutes. It was very hot. It's going to be hot all week this week. Take caution and lots of water if you go out there. Have fun!

Glad to hear that your surgery went well. This getting old sucks but it beats the alternative.

Boat that launched after us went out and grabbed that walleye for dinner. No kidding! My surgery went well. Fixed me up so me and Billy will be back out on the lake on Monday! Popper and wacky worm worked the best. My first fish was on a popper. Nothing on the "finisher" though. Have fun out there!!

This was good stuff. I absolutely love the fact that you put in what and where you caught each fish on. Something about true organization that just gets my inner soldier excited. I fish up at lake and have my first boat now and have been stumbling through learning how to bass fish for few years now. Looking forward to more of your videos.

The jig I used for the last two fish was a 6th Sense Axle Hybrid Finesse Jig - PB&J 3/8 oz purchased off of the 6th Sense website. Trailer is a Strike King Rage Craw 4" PB&J.

Well that explains it! I did horrifically this week! Got one night biter on a Buzzbait and a little one on a Chatterbait. Wacky/Neko did nothing for me, guess I was going too fast!
