I want to change out the magazine followers on the Mossberg/Maverick, but I'm scared of screwing something up and either ruining the bluing on the guns through the use of too much heat, or damaging the receiver by applying too much torque to a stuck magazine tube.

Nice! so my mag, on my shot gun has a rolled ring under the mag cap so I can't remove the spring without taking the tube off so I'm very glad of this video!

Thats wild that he built the ATI scorpion 2 yrs before it came out besides the red dot and I think he has a better stock and grip. I own the scorpion and that sucker gets a bit heavy. Especially saddled up and fully loaded.

Tip: If you cannot remove magazine tube and it's not twisting no matter what!!! you have to heat it up !! Remove trigger group and forend. Heat receiver and tube with torch on low settings very slowly, it will come off by hands very easy!!! Remember lefty- loosey, righty-tighty!!
