A beautiful song indeed. I think of my ex wife when I play this song...she left me and broke my heart. I'm good now, but it doesn't hurt to have a song that reminds me of her to listen to once in a while. After all, just because she's gone doesn't mean I should be miserable. This song was in a graduation video for my 8th grade year, the school I went to was k-8 so I basically grew up with that class and they're like my family, I was expecting a good last year with them all but COVID hit and we lost pretty much the entire second half of the year. Every time I listen to this song I almost cry.

Ive lost many loved ones in my 50 years but this song reminds me of my 1st friend Jamil. Half Irish half Indian. We met at 6 and 7 and we loved the Beatles. Days of endless play we were neighbors and we played with our siblings. He loved animals had exotic pets. We traveled on vacations together more than friends. Was my 1st kiss. He was handsome smart. Hard to sum him up in a paragraph. He graduated the summer of 89 and wanted to study marine biology. A motorcycle ride changes everything and he was killed a mere block from home in front of friends. This song from Ringo sums it up. Its been 30 years since i saw your face Jamil. But your always in my heart.
