When i was a kid me and my friend and I struggled on this one and grabvine gateway on n64. The ps4 and 5 version thats nothing now. Easy. Definitely beter on a higher fps

How did they not fix the broken ass textures on this track? See N64 port to get the idea how it should look.

Dude that was flawless. Your turning is on point. Also, that second tube with the two layers, I never understood before why anybody would want to end up on the rooftop. Now I understand. Its so you can jump straight off. Nice!

Not to forget that you can randomly explode if you ride to close to the edge of the of that higher track level Funny thing is i played the hell out of that game 23 years ago on pc. It took me a long time to beat abyss . Then a few years ago i saw it in the ps store downloaded it and beat the game in one single playtrough (also abyss) without trouble . 😅

First try??? Ima tell you one thing, today after 18 years, I started playing this game yesterday on my Xbox, JUST got to this godforsaken track, after 6 retrys, I gave up....anr I restarted as SOON as I fell off that upper path, switched to Warzone 2 in a heartbeat

I proudly beat this race and 100% completed the game in the same run on the N64 when i was ten. i still talk about this track, even just the other day. but the fact that you pilot neva kee and not bullseye navior is raising my eyebrow :)

This is not a sarcastic question: wtf were the developers thinking when they made this track? Like, this wasn’t even the last one. Did they seriously just think it would be funny to fuck with us?

Its the hardest track of the game imo You can only win this by staying on the upper route.

I remember this track vividly and if you accidentally fall on top of the track you automatically lose and would have to restart the track over. This track in my opinion was no joke!

Just beat up this track recently. It was a closed race with a damaged engine. After twenty years, I finally beat this game.

Literally couldn’t win once for years when I was little, then first tried it as well on the new switch version. Don’t know if it’s just my age difference or the controller of the n64 sucking so bad haha.

Omg them shortcuts especially the 1st one would always miss it your timing is amazing nobody should be fooled this course was damn hard had to play it many many times on PC years ago to finally finish 1st If you fall of then the race is pretty much done has to be very precise you must be a professional at this game

We need a new proper podracing game. The only other racing experience that got this kind of speed right, was F-Zero, and Nintendo seems to have no interest in making another one. There's some guy who made the Boonta Classic in Unreal Engine 4, and it looks great, but it lacks the sense of ludicrous speed like this does. And that sense of speed is critical in my opinion

I remember this taking me forever to beat on the n64. I surprised myself when I managed to beat it first try with Wan Sandage on the ps4 version. The n64 stick is truely terrible.

Hey just curious, has anyone else had problems with the boost cutting out and not being able to boost at all with the PS4 version. I remember that maintaining boost in the original game was pretty easy but I can't manage to boost for longer than 1 second with the PS4 release. Any thoughts would be great. Thank you
