By clipping through the wall at the start sequence player can save a few seconds. And as a major bonus, SCP-173 will remain inactive for entire game, making Keter runs super easy. The sad part, this trick is banned for speedrun.com leaderboards in all categories except Any% by Out of Bounds rule. For Any% runs this trick is mostly useless because Any% routes skip this part entirely

How do you optimise this game for fps? Its always laggy or choppy on decent hardware for me.
I didn't optimize it at all, tbh. I play 1280x720 windowed with 120 FPS frame limit, and still experience random lag spikes (even after hardware upgrades)

And how did you get the omni card if it can't be obtained from scp-914?
It can be obtained from 914 on Very Fine mode with a small chance, depending on selected difficulty and unlocked achievements (approx 1/100 per card in my case)

Currently making a SCP campaign map for Left 4 Dead 2 and this type of video is exactly what I need to understand what players will need to do to escape. Despite me having beat the game today, I was afraid I may have missed out on stuff haha. I will try to implement all endings anyway.
Where can I find this?
In this run I'd used Pocket Dimsension route to save ~20s (comparing with normal route where you must toggle checkpoints lockdown). It turns out, srdc community banned Pocket Dimension route from Intended% category as non-intended way to beat the game, so this run was rejected from srdc leaderboard. It took over 600 attempts for me 😅in this game almost impossible to get good RNG for map and omni at the same time
@@ya_soos Why omni, though? Ain't just getting level 5 is enough?
@@thefumyandthechev K5 is enough, but you have to spend extra 30s in SCP-914 chamber, upgrading keycard level by level. Omni is faster to obtain, however heavily depends on your luck (chances are something like 1/100 per card of Safe difficulty)

what Open gate b for nothing
Turn off Remote Door Control, then visit SCP-079 chamber, and then finally turn Remote Door Control on. After this you will unlock both gates

I discovered this bug on my own turns out the only required keycard is to open gate b
You don't even need to have K2 to beat the game! With this bug you can just go out of bounds and complete objectives from the void
