I explain in my video! There’s a few reasons, but primarily because I have pegged laterals and already had temporary composite on them since I was in middle school. I’m 26 now and my teeth have changed, the temporary composite needed to come off. Leaving me with tiny nubs. It was necessary for me to get veneers on my laterals. Hope that helps!

Hello! I appreciate you sharing and thank you for tuning in. Context is everything!! My dentist is a really, really good friend of mine and he truly does have my best interest in mind :) We've been in conversation about this for over 2 years. To clarify, I am only getting 2 veneers! I was born with pegged laterals. It's not super common, but essentially the veneers are for those teeth (my pegged laterals) to match my other natural teeth. I've wanted this done for YEARS and thankfully am now in a position where it's a financial priority. Hopefully that adds some color!

I got them changed regularly, probably once every 3-4 weeks. Also tried to brush my teeth after drinking or eating drinks & foods that stain!

I would love to do that! Funny enough it’s actually on my dream board. That said- when it’s a financial priority, I will gladly do so 😊

Yes! December 6th, 2023. Just late to uploading this video :) Will talk more about it in my next video, which will be my consultation and provide more context for sure. But to put it simply, veneers on my laterals because my adult teeth are super small (pegged laterals). Hope that helps!

I LOVE THE CERAMIC! Highly recommend. I have metal on bottom, only because our ortho wouldn’t do both ceramic. Only thing about them that I don’t like, isn’t the ceramic brackets themselves, but the clear bands stain super easily. Thankfully, we live close by our ortho and get ours changed regularly so it’s not a big deal. Can always get colored bands instead! But, I love the sleek low profile look. Hope this helps!

Thank you! Since having braces, I haven’t had much dental work done outside of a regular teeth cleaning and an old filling came out, so I had to get that redone. However, prior getting braces, I’ve had many filings. Both silver and composite. I can’t tell you the number because I’ve lost count HAHA! Cost, also couldn’t tell you.. but nothing too crazy. I’d be happy to post some upper and lower arch pictures. Let me see what I can do 😉

Hello Tom! No, he won't be changing to metal. Honestly, the ceramic brackets aren't the issue. The clear rubber bands that hold the wire onto the brackets are what have been staining. We get them changed at least once every 3-4 weeks.. He sometimes talks about getting a different color before our appointment, but quickly changes his mind once we are there.
