As a Utahn, I was completely taken aback by the "I know you have mountains, but you don't have mountains like us" comment. The tallest mountain that is entirely in British Columbia (there are taller ones much further north that are partially in Alaska) is Mount Waddington which has an elevation of 4,019 meters. The tallest mountain in Utah is King's Peak which has an elevation of 4,123 meters. People outside of Utah may not realize it, but the mountains here are actually pretty impressive. PS, and yeah I had to use an online calculator to convert feet to meters because I don't understand the metric system. 😂
Lekkerimaki now listed as "Day to Day" with a tweak, per Canucks GM Patrik Allvin That being said I'd still love to see him come up when he is healthy! Wishing the best for Boeser though.
Does Johnathan Lekkerimaki have a real chance to crack the Canucks lineup?
Omg the ref outfit!!
Hey Zach, great channel bro. - old friend.
Thanks man, I really appreciate it!
I don't know if Bains will work that high up in the lineup i like him as a depth guy

The 2023 off-season was a time of major changes to the Canucks roster. Yet given how far down the Western Conference standings the Canucks had finished their 2022-23 season, I had grown to be skeptical, as neither they nor the Winnipeg Jets had finished in a top-three divisional spot the previous season, the Canucks or Jets would finish top-three in their division. Both teams did last season, but with a huge contrast between the two Western Canadian teams. found a way to, over enough games, play such defensively-responsible hockey to push the Oilers to a seventh game in a conference semifinal while the Jets continued, from the 2023 postseason, to allow at least four goals per relevant game, resulting in respective relevant streaks of nine and five straight games of four and five goals allowed. Last postseason, unlike the one before that, featured at least one Canadian team in a conference final. The 2023 postseason had featured the Oilers, and a conference semifinal with the Golden Knights, outlast the Leafs by just one game. Although among Canadian NBA and NHL teams it’s not so clear how I would define success by the Flames, I see as a successful season for: - among NHL teams, the, going from west to east: -Canucks as a conference final appearance during which they win at least two games - Oilers as winners of a Stanley Cup - Jets as conference finalists that win at least two games in that round as much as I remain sceptical they’ll get anywhere close to that due to a rather underwhelming off-season during which I couldn’t find an acquisition of a defenceman known for throwing the body around or blocking shots - Leafs also as conference finalists - Sens as a playoff appearance, ideally with two or more wins in the opening round - Habs as finishers less than 10 points out of fourth in the Eastern Conference wildcard race (with an NBA equivalent of finishing under five games out of the final play-in spot in a given conference) - Raptors as under five games out of the final Eastern Conference play-in spot, 10th (when compared to over 10 games out of such a spot last season)
