Only this past week while I was checking my own understanding of the religious mix in the city of Ostia Antica under the Romans did I learn that Serapis devotees were espousing such similar ideas about eternal life and redemption from sin that when the authorities tried to regulate early xtian communities and native Jews they would lump Serapeans in with them -- and that in some extant materials the Serapis clergy called themselves Bishops of Christ. We can never really know how things came about, for sure.

Imagine if we lived in a country where the gov't operated on the basis of the consent of the governed! Five of the current justices seated in the SCOTUS were appointed by presidents who lost the popular vote. The majority party in the House represents about a third of the country's population. People in Wyoming, fewer than there are in San Jose, have the same weight in the Senate as the entire population of California. How did we go from the Declaration to this?

I just wanted to share that Eden is supposed to be on Earth and Eden is paradise. It is located on the Earth still today to find it. You must look for the cloud and the flaming sword that the angel is using To guard the entrance. TH-cam has videos you can see of the North Pole being filmed with the giant cloud and a whole vortex in the center with a flaming fire coming from. It they are hiding the North Pole from us because Eden is at the North Pole. Paradise is at the north pole and no one can enter because the flaming sword and the angel are guarding this entrance.. It is very difficult to find real pictures of the north pole and of the cloud covering it and the vortex hole... Now everything else makes sense in The Bible because heaven will be on Earth and there is no leaving. This earth system that we are living inside

Jesus should be part of a trinity, but He does not even KNOW what it is! If the trinity existed, Jesus should always say "I am with the Father and the Comforter" or "I am with the Father and the Holy Spirit", but this NEVER happens! Jesus NEVER states to be with TWO divine persons! Jesus ALWAYS states He is ONLY WITH THE FATHER! For example "The Father has not left me ALONE because I always do what pleases Him.". Of the Comforter NO RECORD in Jesus' life!!! In Jesus' mind only TWO divine persons exist: Him and the Father. Thus, in the gospels Jesus tells us 50 times, in all manners, that God is made by the Father and the Son. Period. That's not difficult: simply by reading and ACCEPTING !!!!!!! His statements you learn that the trinity does not exist and that God is only made by the Father and the Son. For example : "those who will believe in me through their word so that they all may be one, as you, FATHER, are in ME, and I in YOU. THEY also may be ONE IN US..." (i.e. only believers, Father and Son are there). So, when you read the discourse on the two blasphemies, of course you expect that the first blasphemy be directed to Jesus and the second blasphemy be directed to the Father, i.e. to the only two existing divine Persons. But surprisingly the Father is called "Holy Spirit" on that occasion. The reason is simple: Jesus has a "Father who is a spirit" (Jn. 4:23-25) who is called "Holy Father" by Him, but that "SPIRIT WHO IS THE FATHER" (nothing changes, He still remains the same God) also needs His own "spiritname" in order to be identified among other spirits. Well, you learn on that occasion that Jesus calls Him "Holy Spirit." In short, Jesus addresses the Father who is a spirit by calling him either Holy Father or Holy Spirit, equivalent names. Indeed the Holy Spirit - who is inside Jesus - CAN ONLY BE THE FATHER: no one else is there! "He who sent me is with me." "I am not ALONE because the Father is with me".

As near as I can tell, the Anglican "Eighth Sunday After Trinity" is the same as the (traditional) Catholic "Tenth Sunday After Pentecost" which is the same as the (modern) Catholic "Twentieth Sunday of Ordinary Time".
