Wet bed is for paint/ metallic to lay onto while u blending so u don’t have sand piling on the panels or little beads that would look like trash.

No lie. I’ve been getting great great color match.

Well for one u used rattle cans to paint a bumper. U need actual paint gun and small compressor at least. But u can dry to wet sand it and buff it and see how that do.

@@treysterthepainterturner8404I’ll try that Friday coming up as it’s my next day off I can spend some time on it. But I personally already have a 30gal Campbell compressor in my detached garage. Think it does 10.2@90psi. As long as this is good enough for painting, it would great to know the tools needed to get the job done right. If you don’t already have a video, it would be great to show one showing the tools you use for each type of paint, what kind of paint can be used and why specific size nozzles are needed if I’m saying it right like 1.2,1.3,etc. I’m completely new to this but I already have a setup where I can once in the blue spray paint a part without affecting anyone or anything else. Thanks again for the response!

@Lafiro if I did do stuff from the garage I would definitely do vids on that but unfortunately I don’t for now. But that 30 gal would do great for small jobs like bumpers and only 2 panel jobs. But if u wanna do whole car jobs. U would have to least have a 60 to 80 gal compressor and I think a 1.3 would work for all condition jobs. 1.2 would do great also too.

@@treysterthepainterturner8404 I dont think I will ever do cars. Just touch ups. What I did was a disaster / learning curve. My garage closed on my bumper and took with it the paint and sliced into the plastic. I had to put putty, sand it and paint it... multiple times because I kept messing up. Got the rattle cans and some areas look great and shinny. But majority is very bumpy looking and dull. I already used multiple foam pads and different grades of polish compound and the bumper feels super smooth. But maybe the issue is the paint layer itself. Either way, it was my first time every and I can't say I did a bad job at all. At least you can't tell unless you absolutely go looking for it. I blended it correctly too. But I am still left with the same burning question; money not being an object. What spray gun(s) could I get for these small jobs. I see them cheap on amazon for example and then a few hundred for a ws400 or ls400. But I don't know the difference and again, just want the best I can get. I could use them to paint cabinet doors for my wife next. Don't see why not?! lol Correct me if I am wrong and I shouldn't do that with car paint.

@Lafiro got with a Lph-300 that will work great for bumper jobs and stuff it’s a perfect gun you can spray that gun at 18 psi and it gives u great Basecoat lay down and Clearcoat.

Oh u gone love the paint system. All the colors seem to match. Tips no not really. The only difference will be that you’ll be moving a lil slower when basing and make sure to stay 6 in and do a 90% overlap to make sure to have coverage other than that that’s it brother.
